♡ What is Forever-Chance ResQ all about? ♥

Forever-Chance ResQ is an animal rescue center, dedicated to adopting out a wide variety of critters, both large and small. Some of the animals brought to us have had a rough past, while a few were picked up off the street. Still others were former pets but the previous owners could not maintain their upkeep, thus surrendering the animals here. Each animal that is brought to FCR goes through a rehabilitation program which assesses their individual needs, strengths, and weaknesses. But no matter their background or history, all of the animals here are looking for a new home, where they will be loved unconditionally and forever. Will you adopt one of them, giving them a "forever-chance"?

Forever-Chance ResQ is dedicated to finding the perfect home for each individual creature, and we encourage potential adopters to be 'picky' about which pet you chose to try out for. c: Do not collect these guys like other adoption places here on CS. We wish our animals to be adopted out to caring and dedicated new owners. So please, do not try out for an animal unless you would surely be interested adopting.

This female mutt was picked up off the streets of Detroit. Her previous owner, a homeless man, found her when she was a pup, and now that she is older he found it quite difficult to keep her at bay. He assured us that he had tried everything, and though he was heartbroken to let her go, he knew this was the best thing for her. Thus she was surrendered to FCR.
We suspect that she is a Husky/Labrador/Terrier mix, though this is highly debatable. Her high energy level suggests that she is definitely part Husky though!
Her previous owner named her Asa. (pronounced "AYE-suh") Please keep that name for her.
After months of rehabilitation, Asa is now housebroken and ready to go to her new home. She will need a large yard and an outlet for all that energy. Also, keep her away from children's toys.. Asa loves to chew.

Asa is now owned by Sable.

A few words about her: Asa is highly energetic and does good with a long walk everyday. She has a fondness for having her belly rubbed, she is protective of her food though and shouldn't be disturbed when she's eating. She's otherwise very sweet and enjoys being petted.
What sort of life would she live if you adopted her?: Asa will have a long joyful life with me. She will have everything she needs and won't be out in the streets anymore. Asa will get long walks everyday, the obedience training she needs to be safe (don't want her to get out and get into trouble!) Her new home will be in a large yard, she'll have her own dog house and plenty of toys with fresh food and water and long walks, complete with secure fences and gates so she cannot get out. She'll be loved and treasure as a family member and won't ever be left behind or neglected.
