Deersserts are deer made of ice cream with toppings!
They are obviously icecream,
with hooves made of ice cream cones,
whipped cream tails (don't forget the cherry on top!),
and some have horns and other little toppings added to them.
Deersserts come in a variety of flavors.
The most common being chocolate and vanilla.
Deersserts are about the size of Boarder Collies.

As you can probably tell, this Deerssert is based on the ice cream to the left. <3
It's also blind.

Fᴇᴇʟɪɴɢs Aʙᴏᴜᴛ Bʟɪɴᴅɴᴇss: Blue doesn't mind being blind, he has been blind since birth, and therefore has grown used to it, enough so that it just feels and seems normal by now. of course, some days he thinks about what it would be like to have his eye sight, but it all always comes back to there is nothing he can do about it, hes stuck with his blindness, its something that isn't going to disappear if he takes a rage about it. But, it also has some advantages, he will be friends with anyone, what they look like doesn't matter to him, he just likes to know that hes doing something that will help others as well as himself, and making friends seems to be that thing.

Blue is very laid back, he loves to lie around and listen to the sounds around him, one of his favourite sounds would have to be the sound of nature around him, he loves to know that there is life out there, and even if he can't see it that doesn't mean he has to act as if he doesn't understand it, he can picture whats happening in his head after all. He's a mischievous deer, who is always up to something or other with his friends helping him out along the way, joining on with this he's also good hearted and a peacekeeper, knowing how much he can push it before enough is enough. Nature is Blue's thing, the sounds of it relax him, the birds singing, the waterfalls, everything about it is relaxing, causing him to often pass as quite the adventurer at times. Overall, Blue is someone worth becoming friends with, and once you have him he'll be loyal, and you'll be stuck with him.

Merlin has always been blind. He typically doesn't mind, after all, he hasn't known anything else. He keeps a positive outlook on life and is very rarely affected by his blindness. However, sometimes he wishes he could see the magnificent world his friends describe. Whenever he feels down from not being able to see, he'll sit down, close his eyes, and write about what he sees. This helps him cope with those few times of sadness and what he sees is something those with sight will never see.

Well this little deerssert reminded me of some Blue and white Iris flowers.

Iris isn't to found of her blindness but she's learned to cope with it. Since she can't see she relys on her hearing the most. Iris uses her hearing the most because she can easily identify voices and other sounds,which helps paint a better picture for her of other deersserts and objects. She can be a bit rude when her blindness is pointed out or when she's excluded from things but she gets over it. Overall she can handel being blind pretty well but if she had the chance to see she'd definitely take it. Though she's not sure how she'd turn out without being blind.

Frost used to hate being blind but then he had gotten used to it over the years and could tell where he was with his hooves and hearing around him so now he dose`t mind but wishes he was able to see, but she dose have a few advantages, her other 4 senses are better then normal so with her smell, hearing, taste and touch help her survive

feelings about blindness: Marti doesn't mind it so much. She's actually a bit smug about it sometimes, to be honest. She thinks that being blind makes her different from every one else, which it does, and she pride's herself on that. Maybe it's disappointing that she can't see other deersserts flavors, or her own, for that matter, but she finds it helps her be less judgmental. Apparently other deer judge her on her ice cream, but she, she can judge on personality, and what they say, which is a blessing in itself. So, being blind isn't all that bad.

Snowdrop

Princess Celestia: There's nothing in this world quite so amazing as the first winter's snow. The first few flakes falling from the sky, signifying great change. The time for the land to rest, the animals to dream, and the ponies of Equestria to relax and play - knowing another year has successfully reached its eve. Holiday celebrations, peaceful nights of rest, brisk laughter in the day...all brought forth by a single, powdery flake. Some might scoff at the idea, that something so small could hold such power. But they are the ones who have forgotten how the snowflake came to be.

I named this Deerssert after a great animation on youtube, called "Snowdrop."

Snowdrop is a fan-created 15 minute animation about a little pony named Snowdrop. She is blind, and none of her classmates like her - they often make rude remarks about how she's unable to cope with life. Snowdrop doesn't like her classmates' mean remarks, but she can't do anything to stop them, so she puts up with their taunting. On the day of the Spring Sunrise Celebration, every pony in her school has to make a gift for the princesses who rule the land. Being blind, A couple days before the celebration, Snowdrop hasn't even begun making a gift, nor does she have a partner to help her out. Snowdrop ends up making a "snowflake" out of her tears, which freeze from the cold weather as she cries. She gives the "snowflake" to the princesses, who accept her gift as the best one they receive. The princesses request that Snowdrop make more "snowflakes", and she does so, smiling more than she ever had before in her life of sorrow. According to the show, Snowdrop not only creates the first piece of "wishing snow" - she also continues to create more "snowflakes" for most of her life. Snowdrop ends up dying of old age, and the princesses keep her "snowflakes" and use them wisely in the years to come. Finally, they reach the point where only one "snowflake" remains. The younger princess - Luna - wants to keep the "snowflake" to honor her deceased friend, but her older sister - Celestia - tells her that Snowdrop wouldn't have wanted that. Luna reluctantly agrees, and flies up to drop the last of Snowdrop's "snowflakes". When it reaches the ground, it lands on a Snowdrop flower, bringing it back to life after a cold winter.

Primrose: Yes. Once there was a time when you couldn't, when stars were rare. But when the princesses came, the stars began to come out every night. I bet if you listened you could hear them twinkle.
Snowdrop: No I couldn't.
Primrose: You listen better than anypony I know.
Snowdrop: All I hear is quiet...I'd rather see them. Do you think if I wished hard enough they would let me see them?
Primrose: It's better to save your wishes, Snowdrop, for something you REALLY need.
Snowdrop: Don't I really need my eyes?
Primrose: No, not you. You're too special for that!
Snowdrop: I am?
Primrose: Who else can discover an entire cloud's shape without denting the surface? Only ONE little filly's wings and hooves are careful enough to do that! And I bet if you tried again, you would be able to hear the stars twinkling at night. You're a special filly, my Snowdrop. Don't worry. You won't need your eyes to find your place in the world.

Having been born blind, Snowdrop knows how to function in the world, with some minor difficulties. She doesn't necessarily enjoy being blind, and often wishes she could see. But, even though she wishes to see, she knows deep down inside that she cannot change being blind anymore than she could change her species or the design of her coat. She understands that while being blind is a difficult thing to deal with - especially in regards to making friends - it is something that helps her to be grateful. She knows that being blind has affected her and made her different from others, mainly in that she sees life differently than anyone else she knows. She uses her ears to hear, and she is known for being a good listener. She uses her nose to smell, and she can recognize scents quicker and easier than anyone else she knows. She speaks with her mouth, careful to be gentle yet firm while talking to others who may put her down or make fun of her for being blind. She ultimately counts herself blest to be blind - she usually has an upbeat point of view, and tries to help others to see the happier side of life.

While she doesn't get into fights over being called names due to her blindness, she does stick up for herself, standing her ground when an adversary confronts her. She finds friendship in other Deersserts who understand her - mainly Deersserts with disabilities themselves. She is willing to befriend anyone...but few are willing to befriend her. For this reason she's an outcast, and gets lonely at times. She sometimes feels despair, especially when her few friends are too busy to come and spend time with her. Most of the time, however, she tries to be happy, helping others and being kind. She has the mindset of a giving being, enjoying helping others to see the silver lining of every cloud. She's the kind of being who sees the glass as "half-full" - she doesn't dwell on her tragic past; she only looks forward to a better and brighter tomorrow, believing highly that if you've fallen, the only thing left to do is pick yourself up and keep walking forward.

feelings about blindness: For her there is no such meaning as being blind it just means you see and feel a whole different world. Your other senses are more sharper then the other one and the world means so much more to you then it does to anyone. It's like she can feel other peoples emotions, have her own world, she can create what she wants. If you ever asked her what she thinks of being blind she would just say:" Hunh what does blind mean? Is there ever such a thing that exist?"
