Essence is very withdrawn into herself. She often doesn't keep note of other Lumiretts, except for attaching shadows, or "darkspots", onto them.
Choosing to keep herself completely isolated, it's very rare for her to talk to anybody. Why should she?

Everything surrounding her is the fluffstuff of legends and rumours spread by those who didn't want to look underneath her appearance. She sometimes helps fuel them, as people tend to leave her alone, for fear of bringing bad luck upon themselves. That's definitely to her own liking, as she can do her job without interference.

Essie knows how to get around undetected. If she wants to get something done, it gets done her way, and nobody else has any say. She can hide things well, also. If you manage to catch her, she'll either try to charm you with her words, or just bluntly barge past.

Essence is very proud, and stubborn. She's intelligent, and will argue with people until she wins, even if she realises sheens wrong half-way through. She doesn't like to be pushed around, and cannot stand bullies. She usually pulls pranks on bullies, which only reinforces the rumours of bad luck.
Essie has never known love, as nobody raised her properly. This caused a deep hole inside the membranes of her soul, corrupting her very being. She gives a cold shoulder to anybody she doesn't know.
If you happened to annoy Essie, she'll become very sassy, sarcastic, and snarky. She'll get a bit of an attitude, just like any teenager, except she's going to be a teen for all eternity.
Essence likes to keep things simple. Everything in her life that she needs to know is clear and straightforward. Give Lumis shadows. Talk your way around that Lumi. Eat. Sleep. Essie really isn't too complicated once you get to know her.[/strike]

Essence was created in Britain, but is Hungarian. She doesn't know why or how (nobody does).

Essie speaks English, Sarcasm, Hungarian, and can tell you that she doesn't speak Spanish-in Russian.

Essence has a British accent, because even though she came from Hungary, she adapted to a British accent while learning to speak English. There are small undertones of Hungarian in her voice, though.

~ When Essie becomes stressed or worried, the sides of her nose ache.
~ Also, Essie can sometimes control the shape that her glow makes, as she was made to control light. When bored, she'll play with her glow.


♾Habits♾
~ Essie chews on her glow in her sleep. She doesn't know it though.
~ When Essence is reading, she unconsciously creates whatever scene she is reading with small blobs of light.. It's like a little hologram, played at her reading pace.

♾Accessories♾
Essence takes the reflected light from things to use as accessories. They're normally brighter than she is, so that you can see them.
