26.7.2013 : First Sighting

A strange breed of creatures has been discovered living in valleys between small mountains and in forests near these areas. They have fluffy, soft fur, and, as strange as it seems, balloons for tails. They seem to be closely related to domestic and wild felines, and possess many of their traits, such as being very agile yet laid-back creatures. They are the same size as an adult domestic cat, maybe a bit smaller. They are born like most mammals, and drink their mother's milk until they are old enough to eat solid foods. "Baloos", as we have decided to call them, seem to be quite friendly towards humans, however they are very protective over their tails. Their tails seem to glow a bit, and we have assumed that they help the creatures sustain life. Every baloo that we have seen have at least one of these tails, and a few have two. They seem to be good swimmers, yet seem to be reluctant to let their tails enter the water.

So, if you're reading this, you must be interested in being an artist for Baloos. First of all, I would highly suggest going to the Main Adopts thread, which doubles as the species headquarters. If you want to be an artist, you should read the entire first post. It contains all of the rules for the adopts as well as everything that you should know about baloos. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to post right on the adopts, on this thread, or through pm. I'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have!

So, I am currently searching for 3 full time artists. I'm hoping that I get a lot of entries so that I can really choose who is going to be the best artists for my adoptables! You must use my lineart while coloring your entry, and I would highly suggest using Lock Alpha. Your entry can have TTS ( Two-tailed syndrome ) or SES (Same Eye Syndrome) If you would like, but I'd rather have one of your entries without a special syndrome if you decide to do so. Remember that baloos can not have both TTS and SES, and that they are both rare cases.

You may create as many entries as you would like, and if you win a spot as an artist, you will get to keep one (or two) of your entries as a part of your two custom limit as being part of the staff. c:

What I'm looking for:
• People who know how to use Lock Alpha, and other basic tools of Oekaki
• NO five minute designs
• A combination of natural as well as unnatural colors

I am also looking for 3 mods! Being a mod, your job would be to help keep the spam down, answer questions if I am not around to answer them, and keep everything under control. You also would get 2 custom baloos that can be designed specially for you by either me or one of the artists!

when are you on chickensmoothie, for the most part?:
Well from now to the beginning of September, I should be on most evenings (7:00pm-10:00pm EST) and mornings (8:00am-11:30am EST). I also am sometimes on during the hours between those times, but it varies. I'll be away Sunday (tomorrow) until Wednesday just to let you know.

During the school year (September-June) I should be on some mornings (7:00am-8:30am EST) and most evenings (4:30pm-9:00pm EST). On weekends I should be on most of the day but it depends on if I'm doing something or not.

why should I choose you?: There is probably no reason to choose me over everyone else, true. But I shall plead my case to you ^^ I am a pretty active CS member, and I have been registered for an extremely long time, so I know the ins and outs and know the workings of species adopts like this one. I'm mature, and very friendly, meaning that although I can deal with spam and what not, I am also a go to if anyone needs help or needs questions answered. I never lose my temper online [I punch a tree insted x3], and so I will never be disrespectful or rude towards anyone, no matter how annoying they may be. ^^
have you been a mod of any other species?: I've been mod for quite a few different species, a few that come to my head are Meows and several smaller ones c:
when are you on chickensmoothie, for the most part?: Well. Lately, as I'm in the later years of my studies, I am generally on weekends, and sometimes during the week also ^^ I'm in Australia, so the times I am on also is generally when most others are offline ^^

why should I choose you?: Well, I have no life lol (well I do just not a very active one that calls me away a lot) and I'm looking for more adoptables to be part of.
