A strange breed of creatures has been discovered living in valleys between small mountains and in forests near these areas. They have fluffy, soft fur, and, as strange as it seems, balloons for tails. They seem to be closely related to domestic and wild felines, and possess many of their traits, such as being very agile yet laid-back creatures. They are the same size as an adult domestic cat, maybe a bit smaller. They are born like most mammals, and drink their mother's milk until they are old enough to eat solid foods. "Baloos", as we have decided to call them, seem to be quite friendly towards humans, however they are very protective over their tails. Their tails seem to glow a bit, and we have assumed that they help the creatures sustain life. Every baloo that we have seen have at least one of these tails, and a few have two. They seem to be good swimmers, yet seem to be reluctant to let their tails enter the water.
● Baloos will always have heterochromia, unless they have SES (Same Eye Syndrome).
● Baloos always have fluffy, soft fur. Their fur keeps them warm during winter months, yet becomes rather hot during summer months. At this time, baloos stay near or in water to stay hydrated and cool.
● Baloos always have white (#FFFFFF) fur somewhere on them.
● Baloos always have four main fur/tail colors, including white, and not including their eye colors.
● Baloos very rarely have different shapes balloon tails. This is extremely rare, and will only happen on the hundredth baloos.
● Baloos will always have at least one balloon tail, NEVER none. Their tails contain life-sustaining elements that keep them healthy and alive.
● The balloon tails of a baloo are virtually indestructible. However, baloos do not realize this most times, and are very protective of their tails.
● Even with two tails, baloos can not fly/float with their tails.
● Baloos have relatively short legs, however they are still very agile.
● Baloos have a very keen sense of hearing and sight, but not a very keen sense of smell.
● A Baloo's tail is always a solid color; never patterned or two colors. ( if they have TTS, both tails are different colors, but one tail is one color, while the other is a different color. )
● TTS ; Two Tailed Syndrome
TTS is a special mutation that may develop in some baloos. It doubles the gene that crates the balloon tail, so that instead of be tail, there are two. They will always be the same size, but may rarely be two different shapes. This is an uncommon syndrome, which develops in 1 out of every 15 or so baloos.
●SES ; Same Eye Syndrome
SES causes a baloos to have the same eye color. This is a rare trait, and only develops in 1 out of every 25 or so baloos.
● Do not sell/trade your baloo.
● Respect the mods/artists/etc.
● Do not bribe artists.
● You may not own more than four baloos.
● Do not steal the species. It was in the development starting in early June, and first shown to the public 7/26/13. It was created by Purr.
● Do not steal or claim a baloo that is not yours.
● If you no longer want your baloo, pm the artist to have it put up for readoption.
