The white cat lay curled up inside a log,her fluffy tail wrapped around her body as she slept through the long,leafbare night,not disturbed by a sudden noise from outside the shelter.

A tiny kit peeped out from the sea of frosty white fur.

It mewed,turning it's attention to it's mother.

She stirred,half opening her blue eyes."Oh,it's you." She murmured groggily.
