This is horse number nine in my zodiac themed series: Sagittarius. And I do say, it is very hard for me to put this one up for adoption... as I am a proud Sagittarius myself. ;3 I might have to pull this one out of the running for adoption, but I'll think on it.

He had never run so fast in his life, and he never knew he could run that fast. He ran for what felt like hours, yet the beast kept up. Then he noticed a thicket of thorns ahead. Taking the risk, he plunged into the thicket, scratching himself badly. But the beast hadn't followed. He kept galloping until the thicket and beast was far behind him. He hurt all over. As he looked at his wounds, he saw one, deeper than the rest. As he grew older, his wounds faded, all but the one that turned into a scar.
