What is an Azturpealean Serpent?
An Azturpealean Serpent(or just Serpent) is a large amphibious creature. They live either in or near fresh water. Serpents don't naturally trust humans, but once you gain a Serpent's trust it can never be broken. After a Serpent is domesticated, it's your lifelong companion. Because Serpents live so long, they usually outlive their human. When this happens, they live out the rest of their life in solitary. Once in a while, a Serpent will accept a new human companion, but that's extremely rare!
About Azturpealean Serpents
In General
In General
• Eat wild mice; rats; squirrels; possums and fish
• Are highly intelligent
• Swim like a Chinese Water Dragon
• Have a life span of about 90-100 years
• Have slick, rubber-like scales (like an Orca/Killer Whale or Dolphin)
• A strong muscular body
• Course hair along bottom of tail
• A long tail with the end like a Dolphin
• Dominant colors are either browns, soft/dark greens or greyish blues
• Recessive colors are any other color in pastel
• Have at most five colors, plus an eye color and horn color
Males
• Stands 22 hh/7ft 4in tall at the shoulder
• Weighs 2,000 lbs
• Have longer, curled horns
• A tall fin or crest along back of neck
• Five smaller fins along back
Females
• Stands 20 hh/6ft 8in tall at the shoulder
• Weighs 1,500 lbs
• Have shorter, slightly curled horns
• A shorter fin or crest along back of neck
• Four smaller fins along back

• If you no longer want your Serpent, PM the artist who made it so they can re-adopt it
• If you change your username or your Serpent's name, PM the archivest so they can update the archives
• Don't change your Serpent once you adopt it, you shouldn't have adopted it if you wanted something different
• Don't make fake Serpents
• If you have a question for a specific user, PM them
• Please try to PM me all questions. I will then put them in the Q&A
• You may own four(4) Serpents, for now
• Artist may own five(5) Serpents, for now
• Artists are allowed two(2) customs, for now
How to Adopt
Go to the Serpent's page, and read what you have to do to adopt it. Fill out the form and follow that adopt's rules. And most importantly, have fun! Once you have been selected as a winner, it would be nice to see a short paragraph or two about you met and befriended the Serpent ;3
After you adopt a Serpent, feel free to make a whole history for it(just nothing too violent as they docile creatures) <3

Do Azturpealean Serpents wear items/accessories?
No, not normally. Aside from being so big that nothing would fit, they don't often tolerate them. Once in a while, you might manage to get a loose bandanna or other light-weight item around their neck, tail or maybe a front foreleg.

Try to match the Serpent's colors with where it lives...For example, if you want to make a Serpent with browns, make it a land Serpent. You can make a land Serpent in the water or vice versa, just be sure to say so. After a Serpent is adopted, please provide a transparent version without color dots and gender when quoting the winner's form in the first post, while keeping the background on the original Oekaki. Also, please provide HEX Codes.
