For the first adoptable Draminny, I thought I would do something a little special. This guy is from the Arctic, hence his pale, pastel colors, but what makes him really special are his two different colored eyes, gems, and horns. Heterochromia is rare in Draminnies but has the spectacular effect of changing not only their eyes, but their gems and, for males, their horns as well.

If you wish to adopt this little guy, just fill out the form the below~ I'll decide the winner this Saturday, the 23rd, so long as there are at least 10 entries. I will decide sooner if there are a lot of entries early on. You do not need to do anything special to your forms, it will not help you. I care much more about the content of your form rather than how it looks ;P

His name shall be Pengo!

He is only about 11 months old, so next month(Maybe next week) he should be about a year old! XD
Personality
Pengo is a curious little guy, loving to explore, and his favorite thing is the water! He loves the way it shimmers. He is a kind one, loving to all, he got his name, by the way, by going up to all the penguins curious about them. His favorite thing to do is explore the ways of creatures living all over the world. His gem, horns, and eyes are different colors, because of the way his eyes switch from greenish water to bluish water. His eyes got confused and stole the water's color.
Likes
He loves water, penguins, ice, creatures unlike himself, and of course food!
Dislikes
He absolutely hates plants, insects, fire, the colors of the hot groups, and the most thing he hates is getting his fur dirty! Of course! Who would like that?

It's Lil' Ol' Me!
I was once just a tiny egg! But I wobbled, a lot. People never saw me, am I invisible to them or what? I got scared of being alone, so I decided it was my time to hatch. Well it didn't work out as I planned. Apparently, I was born on ice so when I hatched the ice was melting and I fell in. I was under water for a while, a long while. Maybe a few months later I found my way to the surface and I finally breathed a gulp of air in instead of nasty fish poo! I hoped up onto the ice surface hoping to move along quickly, well I sure did woddle alright! I was frozen! Gee I never knew the artic could freeze a little thing like me. Just kidding! I'm not that stupid you know, right? Well I fell asleep for a week. Sadly the ice melted, it was actually quite cozy, but when it broke and melted around me, I noticed my brown fur was now, now light blue! Like the sky! And I had gems and horns and oh just everything! I loved it, I tell you and I still do! I looked into the water and my one black eye turned blue! There was a pnd and I got a drink from it. It was green though, so his other eye turned green. The color apparently also reflected onto his gems and horns. Cool! Well that was my story of my history, hope you enjoy! Oh I almost forgot to tell you about my penguin friends! They were cool! They named me Pengo! Bye Bye! Hoped you liked Lil Ol' me!

Personality: Bael lives up to his name, which means guardian, he serves as a guard to those of high status and even protects those of low status also. He is very calm and reserved. Very friendly and gentle to all.

Nanuq (meaning 'polar bear' in the Inuit language')
Age:
16 years
Personality:
Nanuq is a curious thing, and though he is all grown up he has a certain childish charm about him. He tries to be optimistic about everything despite all that he's seen and been through but at times it can get to be all too much for him. At first glance anyone might think he's a sensitive soul but really, beneath that sweet and innocent exterior, he's tough, sensible and at times a bit cold. His true self rarely surfaces, for he believes its what drives others away. He can't stand being alone and constantly pines for company which is why he takes up acting in a more appealing manner.
Once his true self has been exposed however, usually by someone whom has eased it from his person, he'll show himself to be far more serious. He's the kind of guy who wants to be trusted and loved, and to achieve that he'll do anything. In truth, he's a very lonely character.

Likes:
• Snow and ice; as a youngster he use to love playing in the white stuff that blanketed his homeland, using it to build snow-dens, snow-walls and even the occasional snow-Draminny. When he was little he use to be fascinated by the snow as it fell from the sky.

• Company; Nanuq is a lonely soul and can't stand being alone. He loves the company of others, no matter who.

• Berries; along with the sweet flavours, Nanuq loved the variety of colours. On more than once occasion he's salvaged berries from bushes and plants to crush in order to paint his fur with their juices. He believed it made him more appealing to others if he did so.

• Swimming; since he was two years of age Nanuq use to love swimming in the lakes and rivers in the summer, when the water was warmest. Even if he had no one to swim with he didn't mind as he saw companionship in the fish that swam alongside him and the other animals that use to come to the river to drink or fish.

• Children; he loves kids. As an adolescent he use to watch the youngest members of the group and so he longed to have a little brother or sister to play with, to spend his days with regardless of the amount of arguing that might and probably would result. But being an only child he had no siblings to play with and he knew he wouldn't have any until he was all grown up. Personally he'd love to have some young of his own.

Dislikes:
• Being alone; when he was young, Nanuq was often described as having Monophobia because of his awkwardness. It was never really that serious though. Nanuq still hates being on his own for too long so rarely he'll go off on his own... even if his company isn't the best.

• Fire; being born in the cold tundra meant Nanuq was very unfamiliar with fire. He encountered it once when he was three years old when he followed some older Draminny into a forested area. Careless human campers had left a fire burning which from there set the surrounding dry vegetation alight. Nanuq and the rest of the youngsters were left stranded until some of the adults from their family group rescued them.

• Fighting; Nanuq isn't big on fighting however there hasn't been a time where he hasn't backed down from a challenge just to try and prove his worth. He's lost more than he's won but that's never stopped him before. He'd rather submit that cause any grief.

• Bullies; bullied a lot in his youth has left a bitter taste in his mouth. Nanuq hates bullies with a burning passion, but most specifically those who choose their victims because of their looks. He understands what it's like to be on the receiving end so he believes nobody, absolutely nobody deserves to be treated as such.

• Foxes; he just plain doesn't like them for the fact that they're over three times his size and weight, and being opportunistic he knows very well that he could be the next meal of one.

Other:
History:
Nanuq was born to a pair of young Draminny. He was their first child and their only one of the litter. They loved him, however they saw that he was different because of his horns, eyes and gems being alternate colours. Still, they were also inexperienced parents who didn't quite know how to deal with their son whenever he became upset. As a result Nanuq got some bad advice from time to time.
The other young Draminny use to crudely bully Nanuq for his heterochromia, seeing him as different rather than unique. This did nothing for his self-esteem. They thought that maybe if they segregated Nanuq that maybe he'd detach himself from their little groups. It didn't work, and Nanuq strived to try and earn some sort of recognition and appreciation from his peers, adult and young alike.
As he finally matured to eight and a half years, Nanuq found that his telekinetic powers weren't very useful, however he did find that it was easier to manipulate the snow he was playing with. He loved frolicking in the white stuff and even tried to engage some of the other young Draminny into snowball fights. None would play with him still and even now he was belittled a fair few times for trying to participate in any games they did have.
Shortly after his 10th birthday Nanuq noticed that many of the other Draminny of the same age were leaving the family group in order to establish their own groups or to find mates to start their families with. Only the younger Draminny stayed behind with Nanuq and the older grown-ups. It was finally when his mother hatched out two young Draminny that his father cast him away much to his alarm.
So Nanuq travelled on his own, sticking to the forests for company. He met a few of his own kind once or twice; mostly other dispersals or young couples without or without offspring. Many were afraid of his looks but there were some that saw past his differences. Nonetheless he was always left alone after a little while to his own devices. Nanuq didn't mind so as long as he felt that he wasn't totally alone and that there was someone out there who'd appreciate him for what he looked like.

Why do you deserve him?:
Well, I wouldn't say I 'deserve' him per say but I do adore his design; simple yet very, very cute. I just saw this on the 'Latest Posts' on the CS homepage the other day and I clicked on it out of curiosity. I don't usually apply for adoptables, much less species that are completely different like this. I immediately fell in love with the design so for the past couple days I've been trying to draw some art and finally after a few hours I finished a piece I like. I also spent a great deal of time on the form. I'd also be sure to spend plenty of time drawing him, and if one ever opens up specifically for Draminny, I'd use him in roleplay as well.
