But I'm saving my last slot for a really special JMD.

This particular girl absolutely loves yarn and the color pink. So the challenge with this adopt is to explain why she loves both pink and yarn so much, and you need to draw a picture of her (Traditional or digital) playing in yarn. (Which can be any color)

And, yes, she is based off of a grey tabby cat. ^-^

What's a Jewel Mane Dragon?

A Jewl Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewls on their forehead and tail.They eat mostly small mammals such as birds, squirrels, and rabbits. The fur on their back,hind, and front legs feel like silk and is very short. The fur around their neck (Their 'mane') and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewl mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewl Mane Dragons have jewls at the end of their tail and on their forehead. The jewl on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting. The jewl on their forehead is used during mating season to attract females.

This dragon has a pink Jewel, but she'll have the same powers as any other pink Jeweled dragon would have.
Pink = Can make anything or anyone beautiful.

Mom, please!


Riversong layed snuggled in a nest of warm feathers with her sister and mom. She and her sister, Mintyfire, were both 3 months old. They had been born in the middle of spring, and now it was summer. They lived in the woods, just to the right of the middle of the forest. They lived in an old badger set that was widened out. Riversong was a Jewel Mane Dragon with the pattern of a grey tabby. She was all grey, having no other color. Her jewel was not yet colored, as was her sister's. Mintyfire was grey, just like her, but her mane was white. That was how you could tell them apart. Mintyfire also had a white paw. Riversong always wished she was as pretty as Mintyfire. Riversong's mom was almost all white, with the most beautiful jewel Riversong had ever seen. It was a pink, salmon, magenta, like mix. Looking at it would always calm her. Riversong's dad had been killed protecting them from a black bear a month earlier. He was a grey tabby patterned one, just like Riversong. His jewel was a pale yellow. It was pretty, but not nearly as pretty as her mom's. Suddenly, there was a loud grunt, and the burrow started shaking. Riversong, Mintyfire, and there mom jumped up. "My babys, I need you to run, go as far away as you can!" She said while nudging them towards the escape tunnel. "But mama, what about you?" Mintyfire said, straining to look back at her. "I'll catch up to you, my precious babys, just run, run and don't look back. Go to the old valley." She said struggling to keep calm as she pushed them. "Mama, we cant hunt! We need you!" Riversong said, also looking back. "Just go, I promise I'll be back!" She said, almost panicking. Finally, both Riversong and Mintyfire darted up the tunnel. The tunnel was really small, so small that Riversong and Mintyfire had to crawl through. Riversong knew it was hard for her, and she was bigger then Mintyfire, so she again wished that she was Mintyfire. They soon broke out of the tunnel, then started running. Riversong looked back, to see a black bear pin there mom. She whimpered, tears filling her eyes. "We have to help mama!" She said stopping. Mintyfire, not even hesitating, turned back and started running towards the bear. Riversong was soon at Mintyfire's side. Just as the bear bit hard into there mom, Mintyfire and Riversong hurdled them self at the unsuspecting bear's face, biting in hard. The bear, took by surprise, backed up, and shook them off. He turned tail and ran of into the woods. There mom layed there, very still. Mintyfire nuzzled there mom. Riversong sat down, tears filling her eyes. "Mama, please wake up! You promised, mama! Please! You have to get up!" Despite Riversong's begs, both her and Mintyfire knew the horrible truth. They knew that there mom would never wake up. Crying, they stood. Out of nowhere, it started raining, very softly and warm, as if all the heavens were morning there mom. Riversong took one last look at there mom, and at that beautiful pink jewel, before turning away. Turning away from there mom, there best friend, there life.

Pink has been her favorite color since she was a baby. She loves only pink yarn, pink... EVERYTHING! She loves the pink rubber ducks, anything, really.

Why does she love yarn so much?~
She is related to the Gray longhaired silver tabby and inherited it's playful traits. She likes yarn, especially getting tangled in it.

Story

Purrsephine Hera Jennifer II was born on February 14th. Purr, as she is sometimes called, was named after her grandmother, Purrsephone Hera Jennifer. But with the I switched with an E. The young JMD was practically raised by her loving grandmother! Her mother, apparently a child factory, and her father, much too busy to attend to her. Her other siblings were apparently born with the skill to take care of themselves! But apparently not Purr! Her grandmother LOVED the color pink, so Purr loved it too! She learned much from her grandmother, but what she enjoyed most... Was knitting! She had a talent for it! She could knit you a sunny background! She could knit an ACTUALLY good sweater! She could even knit pants >.> She grew up by the rules of her grandmother, strong, smart, stern. The three s's her grandmother taught her. But at the age of 13, tragedy struck. Her grandmother had apparently been out for a walk, and was cornered in a dark alley, and found, dead. Purr burst into tears at the news, but the rest of her family simply grumbled, and went back to their lives. It was later found, that the JMD that had killed her, was not actually a JMD! It had been a robot! Purr, dear, has been afraid of those cold, metal, heartless creatures ever since! But she also swore to herself, that she would honor her grandmother. She started knitting a portrait of her grandmother. Her ever beautiful grandmother! She has dedicated her LIFE to creating it. She is only 25% done, but she couldn't care less. She will spend her whole life, knitting her grandmother over again if she has to.

Description of Grammy:

Her grandmother was a kind soul, never hurting a fly. Gentle, and good with kids, she was known around the neighborhood. Her death was a tragedy to all... Apparently to all except her son and daughter-in-law. And all their children... Except Purr. The old JMD had once been bright rainbow colors with a shining purple jewel. But as she grew old, her colors faded, dark, and lifeless, her shining purple jewel, had glown for its last time. Bit now she is gone, missed more than ever. Her charity gone, wise advice, as valuable as gold. She was known....
