Melon

Melon walked slowly through a field. She admired the beautiful flowers and trees. She came across a tree with black bark, and weak branches. "Oh, my! That is terrible!" she pointed her tail towards it, ready to fix it up, when an emerald green jewel mane jumped on her. "Don't!" it yelled, attacking her. He held Melon down. "What were you doing!" he yelled, swinging his tail from side to side.
"I was just making it pretty!" Melon yelled, glaring at him. The jewel mane blushed and got off Melon. "Oh, sorry, but if you do that, you'll ruin it's fruit..." he said. Melon blushed at the handsome young jewel mane. "Oh, sorry. I'm Melon. You?" she asked. The jewel mane bowed. "May Emerald! Nice to meet you!" May said. He looked at the tree. "I made this tree with my own jewel!" he said proudly. Melon smiled. "It's beautiful!" she said, as it started to sparkle. May's eyes shot open. "Melon!" he jumped on her, rolling her over as the tree exploded, beautiful fruit now on the ground. Melon looked into May's eyes, for what seemed like forever.
"Thank's May..." she picked up the fruit and took a bite. Nay and Melon smiled. "Wanna come to my house?" Melon finally asked. May nodded, and the two jewel manes walked home in the sunset.
