~A Midnight Fight~


Aura overlooked her kingdom from her bedroom Balcany and sighed. The kingdom she ruled was about to face the greatest challenge ever...They had to fight the treanchers, the most feared group of villains in all the lands.

Her father came out to the Balcany to be with her. "Are you alright sweetheart?" he asked
"yes...just kind of worried about the attack that's coming..."Aura replied
"Well, it's good that our spies found out before it happened "he said "Now go to bed, you need to rest."


Her father tucked her into bed and left, but she couldn't fall asleep quite yet. She had to much to think of, but slowly she fell into slumber.


Aura wook up and went to Breakfeast with her Mother and Father. The treanchers hadn't attacked yet and this releaved Aura greatly though she knew they would still come...

"Did you sleep well, Aura?"Her mother asked gently
Aura nodded and continued to eat.
Just then, a Paige came in a started shouting "They've come! They're attacking!!..In the village!!"
King Tren got up and unsheathed his sword. "Aura! Go hide in the bedroom with your mother!"he yelled and then said to the paige "Alert the knights! We must fight!"

Queen Sophia grabbed her daughter's hand and ran. Aura was rushed up the stairs to her parents bedroom and her mother locked the door behind them. Aura then looked out the window, seeing the turmoil in the village. Buildings were on fire and you could her the noise from the village. Aura suddenly spotted something else...it was a group of treanchers, And they were headed strait towards the castle!

"Mom! They're coming to the castle!"she cried out and that's the exact moment they burst throught the door.
"Run Aura!"She heard her mother call and she jumped out the window, just before one of the treanchers reached out to grab her. Luckily she fell right into a pile of hay by the stables and got up quickly. She knew they would be after her and so she ran towards the village.

iChance has responded. I gotta say, I was having a hard time deciding on this one, for various reasons (For instance, I liked Avra's personality, seeing as if fit her inspiration, but I also liked Aura's story and her powers over darkness, seeing as it was a sort of like an inversion of Amaterasu's own power over the sun). However, we have decided that Brooketail has won this little blob~ Congratulations, and take good care of her. Good luck to both of you in the future, and thanks for participating~!

(And, before you ask, no, we didn't choose Brooketail because of the name. I just have a funny feeling that this will come up, so I'm getting it out there beforehand ._'. I actually tend to find it somewhat disconcerting, seeing a character with the same name as many of my own ones, but I digress. It's not like it's that unusual, after all XD)
