How did you first stumble upon/come across Kalons?
Hmm...this is slightly sad, but I can't quite remember. I feel like I may have first known about them through the Character Adoption Addicts Anonymous group or it was through a friend on the Jellybean Dragon Fancub chat who was proudly announcing that they won their first Kalon. X3

What is your favorite thing about the species?
Hmm...I think I love the "shinies" as I believe they are called. X3
I'm ADHD and shiny things are a natural draw/distraction for me. X3

What is one of your favorite things about the Kalon community so far?/What about the community has made you want to stay?
Well, so far, I have to say that it's how welcoming you all are. 0u0 Yesterday was my first day and you all made me feel so welcome right off the bat. ♥

How did you first stumble upon/come across Kalons?
I was a newbie trying to work CS, and I took interest in the 'Adoptable Oekaki' board. Kalons took my interest most, and I'm very glad I decided to get into the adoptable species community!

What is your favorite thing about the species?
Anatomy wise? Probably the cute fluff everywhere, tbh. Although as a whole, my favourite thing is just the simplistic creativity of the species. I feel like the species is precise enough to be unique, yet allow creativity to those designing/creating character ideas.

What is your favorite piece of art that you have ever gotten of your Kalon(s)?
Eee that's tricky, but probs this one by Kouhai? (Sorry for the big image!)

This piece, for sure!

How did you first stumble upon/come across Kalons?
*hard thinking* Yeah I don't remember, but I've know about them for awhile.

What is your favorite thing about the species?
Fluff, shine, and hair, oh my. /so basically kalons

What is your favorite piece of art that you have ever gotten of your Kalon(s)?
Mm, that's a hard one. Probably either this one I got recently from Fūi, or this one from Smol Kenma! They're both so great, thanks to both of them!

This color in gift line that's a total WIP. (haven't had the chance to do anything myself)

What is one of your favorite things about the Kalon community so far?/What about the community has made you want to stay?Everyone is so nice, and the streams are really fun.

How did you first stumble upon/come across Kalons?
I first saw the first concept sketches, then artist searches so keep slowly stalked from the corner shadows and then saw the spring event so I joined and got my first kalon. So I've been here since close to the beginning.

What is your favorite thing about the species?
Not sure...I like the tail shine and just fluffy-Ness.

What is your favorite piece of art that you have ever gotten of your Kalon(s)?
I haven't gotten much art (I got one of my babe Kellin by sixbane which is my fave, but can't link)

What is one of your favorite things about the Kalon community so far?/What about the community has made you want to stay?
Everyone is pretty kind, the community is super including, and just the staff works so hard and especially Glow/Mint has made an amazing community and made me what to try harder to improve my own art skills.

When the spring event happened. it's where i got my first kalon!

the community, for being really nice and also just the ability to have a diverse set of designs

i haven't gotten art of my kalon! i make all the art

it's a tie between these 3 pieces. Senpai, this headshot, and this fullbody.

What is one of your favorite things about the Kalon community so far?/What about the community has made you want to stay?The community is juST SO NICE and all that even if i dont post a lot myself, everyone is still nice to each other and thats awesome

The concept art on the oekaki. I just really liked the species idea so I started
stalking them since then.

One thing's for sure: we're all welcoming and supportive of everyone and I think the best thing is that we never, ever like turning everyone down. We're a huge family of some sort, and we welcome anyone who wants to join in! I think that this community is one of the best I've ever been in on CS.

i'd love to find her same friends/enemies!! if you are interested in mate i will be a bit picky because its in her personality??
she's the bossy/princess type and won't like you if you waste her time. she's interested in straight forward kalons, but i can also see her being with the totally opposite and watch as she spoils her mate with chocolate. haha. really i dont mind if your kal has edits or not c: i will however base my choice on design compatibility but mostly personality matches!

also Yaje is still looking for friendos/enemies/crushes ;;v;; i saw a few PM's, still gotta reply so sorry if i have yet too meep.

How did you first stumble upon/come across Kalons?
like most, i just saw them popping on the adopt oekaki thread ^^ i thought they looked cool but i didn't really get hooked until i saw this one kalon in particular ;v; but of course by the time i wanted to attempt at it the contest already closed hehe.

What is your favorite thing about the species?
my favorite thing must be the variety of traits the species has! very flexiable, but still manages to look like a 'kalon'.
also their noses are purty cute.

i love how active and welcoming everyone is !! it's really nice to see how friendly people are to everyone and even when there is a problem, a big shout out to staff who are willing to deal with them so beneficently c: i do hope that anyone who does ever have an issue is always welcomed to pm me, miniature or really any mod !!

This is my newest kiddo, Nerina! She was one of my dream Kalons and I'm super excited to own her! She works as a theme park "mermaid." I'll open her up for friendships soon!

Also, Samir has a personality now! They're a morally dubious smuggler who'll do anything they can be convinced is in their best interests.

Questions! Skipping some so this doesn't get too long and unwieldy.
Who was your first Kalon? How did you get them?
Lux! Their competition was to design pages from their notebook/diary.

Which of your Kalons is the most developed?
Probably either Lux or Cai, my two oldest.

Which of your Kalons is the least developed?
Samir - I just got them a few days ago, and it was only today that I started to settle on a personality for them.

Which of your Kalons is the most spoiled art-wise?
Nerina by a mile - her comp was a limited impress me, so there was a fair bit of comp art made.
