Pixel Squirrels is open once again, but due to the lack of artists and staff in general, we will not be releasing litters or opening the Squirrel Park for another two or so weeks. During this time, I will be hiring staff to replace those that have quit. I will be hiring the following:

Two Mods

Three Artists

Two Stray Artists

Info on the Mod and Artist positions can be found on the first page. For efficiency's sake, click here to go to them and the staff forms. However, Stray Artists are a fairly new staff position. These artists do not make litters, but rather take care of making Strays for the Squirrel Park. The set minimum for Strays a month (per Stray Artist) is eight, and all Strays must have transparent backgrounds. The form for this position is the same as that for Artist, just state that you're applying for the Stray Artist position somewhere on the form.
All staff will be required to begin their duties as Artists or Mods within a week of being hired. This means Artists will need to send in their first litter(s) or Strays(s) before a week has passed since being hired. I know PS isn't normally overrun with spam, but I would also like for Mods to at least make a post or two (to show that you are active on the thread) during the same time period. Staff forms will be judged around the 20th!

Once we have hired our staff, litters will begin to be posted, the Park will open, and soon after we will begin our third and final Leaf Event, during which we will have a contest for new store items and a new breed will be released.

If you are uninterested in applying for staff and wish to adopt a squirrel sooner rather than later, there are currently Squirrels in the Pound, looking for homes. Pound forms will be judged on the 18th.

The judging dates for forms, both Pound and staff related, are being pushed back to a later date, due to my internet troubles. The exact date is undecided as of right now, so if any of your are interested in posting a form, you've got time.

Do You Have Experience? ;; Yes, you have most likely seen me modding and adopting around the forum almsot as often as the likes of dove, caterpiler and blackberry I`ve been with too many, so I took a modding hiatus after KAPD shut down last November. I`m back, squirrels!
If Needed, Can You Make PS'es? ;; If desperately needed. I am in the unusual position of owning a mobile device that does not support Flash, so to make a litter I would have to zoom in and copy over every pixel onto this [s]terrible[/s] passable pixel art website which is the only thing I can use. I am not a skilled pixel-artist
Can You Make Things Transparent? ;; Not premade pictures, but the pixel art site I mentioned above automatically makes saved images transparent. *shrug*

What Would You Do If Someone Was Spamming? ;;
Flag the post - or the user is it was getting bad - and not respond unless it was ridiculous. In that (highly improbable) situation I would post a calm anmouncement asking people not to retaliate, feed trolls etc.

Because PS is one of the first adopts I saw on CS, and they are what got me into the entire adottables concept. So grateful. For once, that`s not even exaggerating. Version 3 it was back then, I think? I look forward to the swift unveiling of the next 100-page PS!
Is There Anything You Can Do To Improve PS? ;;
I`d like to think not, based on its past merits, but I do believe that someone to enforce the rules to the inevitable two-forms-one-squirrel problem and many other like it that come with owning an adoptables. I`d also see it as my duty to PM you (dovepawlover or whoever they elect) reports on broken rules, flooded important posts, quelled arguments and anything else of interest.
