as someone with five plumies, i've been here for quite a while. it's been amazing to see the plumerian community grow through these two years, and while i haven't been too active, i've always been a lurker.
with that said, it's extremely sad to see these babes close qoq however i do respect char's decision, as it has probably been an extremely stressful two years for her. char has been a great species owner, which is something that is very admirable.
i've met so many awesome people these past two years, so i just want to thank all of you for making this a great experience. i've had some dark times in the past, and plumies have always put a smile on my face qvq yall r some pretty radical people, and i hope to stay in touch with all of my buddies from on here !! i'm glad plumerians are closing on a high note. good luck to you in the future, char!

Man, I have to take this in a bit... It is kind of a shock, how unexpectedly this happened! However, that being said, I am completely respectful of Char's decision to close the species; I completely understand why you did it. I will still be active with my lovely plumerians and hope to develop them further, and I hope that at least some of the community will do the same. Just because there won't be any more plumerians doesn't mean we can't still have an active community with them! I thank you for a wonderful time with plumerians, I've been around them almost since the beginning of my joining CS and have had a lot of fun with the species.

This was the thing I expected least of all.
I have been with plumerians for over a year, idk how long.
Plumerians got me into writing, roleplaying, character-building, drawing.
Plumerians are the reason I have a drawing tablet. They are the reason I am so into characters now.
I was never that active in the community, but I absolutely love my three plumerians.
I have fond memories of each of them, and I feel happy looking at them.
I very much understand your decision, because I understand how stressful it must be for you Charchar, but I am very much shocked that this is so abrupt. I think it would've been better to give like, a week's notice or something. To help soften the blow a bit. However I always knew this day would come. I wish you the best of luck!

(Umm, I really don't mean to complain, but what will happen to those adopts that haven't been judged in months, like the valentinesday-letter plumerian? I understand that people have lives, but staff who haven't been online for a while will return to a closed species, and may have no idea as to what to do. If there is no monitoring, it may also take even longer for the judging process to happen. Its all rather confusing.)

I was lucky enough to own one beautiful plumie.
Though I am not very active in the community, it's sad to see this closed but I will respect Char's decision c:.
I am, however, looking forward to see some starsweets on DA ;).

I posted earlier when I first read, but I can't help but read the comments everyone else is giving. And with every single one my heart sinks further because I seriously LOVE this community... I personally can't see this species without Char being our wonderful ruler, and even though I'm a non owner, I am entered incontests that aren't closed yet... So maybe I will have a chance.

I hope I see others around! Seriously I have met and befriended quite a few amazing people! I can't believe how awesome you all are! And I would love to join together for yet another species again! I know a few that are not mainstream, and I am currently an artist for one that has just recently started and hope to see them prosper. I hate to see these guys go and this community will always keep a special place in my heart.

It's also sad to say that whenever I get my hopes up for things, something goes terribly wrong, and unfortunately I think it's happened again :c but I hope I can change that around and everyone will keep close and find away to still stay connected regardless of the sudden closing of plumerians.

Oh, and I was honestly in so much shock I didn't post anything for almost five minutes because I was lost for words x'3

Yeah, I'm sorry not to give more warning on this; I just sorta needed to get it done once and for all without getting sucked back in. To those of you who really want to breed your couples, it is possible I'll do some breedings on DA eventually (likely for free on a stream or something, if it comes to anything like that) but for now I really need some time away. Room to breathe, so to speak.

Again, you're welcome to still use your plumerians/find romance for them/etc, and the fanclub will remain open unless it gets too unruly/spammy and has to be closed by CS staff!
