Welcome! Mokin are close descendants of raptor dinosaurs, with vulture and feline characteristics. They usually live in the wild as scavengers, but if a Mokin is raised by a human, it is actually a lovable and loyal pet! But be careful, they are difficult to care for, since they still have wild blood.

Like a vulture, a Mokin's head his bald so that its face stays clean when eating dead animals. However, a Mokin's behavior is very similar to a cat's, and they seem to be more intelligent than either. The wing size of a Mokin can vary, and if its wings are too small it may not be able to fly at all. This is a major disadvantage when looking for food, because they can not get a bird's eye view, and some Mokin are only able to glide. Anything other body parts being different on a Mokin is rare.
Mokins can live anywhere, and since they can fly they are slowly spreading throughout the world. Currently, Mokins have been spotted in Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. They seem to be favoring warmer environments, but some are still being seen in colder areas.\
Being Raptor descendants, if 3 or more Mokin families are living in the same area, they may form a pack. Packs are very similar to a wolf pack dynamic, with an alpha male, alpha female, omega, and so on.

Child

Mokin are very protective of their children, since a baby Mokin is basically defenseless. They are born without teeth, and are fed like a baby bird would be. The parent (which can be mother or father) will barf up some of its food into the baby's mouth, until it has grown its teeth. Mokin's parenting dynamic is flexable. Either the mother or father could care for the child, or both.
Mokin are born in batches of 1 to 3, and a couple will not have more eggs until the babies have reached adolescence, where their downy feathers have been shed and they are able to fly. Mokin couples that are not in a pack are very similar to human couples. They could stay together for life, or split apart and get new partners. Mokin often have more than one partner in their life time.

Pre-made Mokin will be posted here. I do not use lineart when making Mokin, whether they are pre-made or customs, so if it takes a while to get them posted up here, I apologize. The criteria for adopting a Mokin will vary between each one. It may be a flat sale, form, raffle, etc.

Open
Customs are where you can choose the color schemes and/or patterns. You can give me a palette, a description, a theme, or whatever. I will not make a Mokin of a character that already exists, or with the same design as a cs pet. I will PM you continuously while making your Mokin so you can change things you don't like or add things you think of.
