basilio rules over a large kingdom right in the centre of furtopia. he rules spouseless as of right now,
and considers himself a servant to the goddess cerridwen, willing to act upon every beck and call
she makes. he regards his subjects with something of a cool indifference, but isnt entirely careless,
as he would still put his life on the line for his kingdom, but mostly because he feels it benefits the
goddess, and he would put the goddess' needs before his kingdom's without a pinch of remorse.

Personality

Gentle, soft spoken, gratuitous, not quick to anger, good with children. He enjoys teaching and helping others. Samir is only slightly bashful, once he gets warmed up, he’ll gladly interact with others, although he has to take breaks with large groups of people such as events. He tries to be patient and understanding, although he has large amounts of it, it is not unlimited. Once it breaks, it is difficult to be spared from his wrath. His one fatal flaw is holding grudges against those who have wronged him, a dangerous flaw to have with a powerful creature.

Powers & Abilities

Beyond being fairly athletic, Samir has remarkable strength for his size, able to lift twice his weight. He has limited magical abilities in the element of air, manipulating small gusts of air strong enough to push others over or propel himself into the air with little effort.

Religion

He prays every morning and evening to the goddess Cerridwen and attends to a shine dedicated to her in her room. It is a small platform with a depiction of her and surrounded by scented candles and objects associated with her. His favorite constellation is of Cerridwen, which can be traced in the sky no matter the season.

Favorite Food/Drink

Samir enjoys seafood, since being raised on an island gave him constant access to freshly caught seafood. His favorite dish is crab bisque and his favorite drink is hot chocolate. He dislikes fruit, but can tolerate the less sweeter kinds.

Clothing Preference

He dislikes highly ornamental and heavy clothing, finding it bulky and pompous as well as weighing himself down when he needs to fly. Samir often wears light, flowy robes or cloaks, sometimes going bare chested when feeling more confident. He rarely wears his crown, finding the practice too old-fashioned for his tastes.

Musical Preference

Samir loves softer, soothing music, generally with wind or string instruments, especially chimes, which he has a whole garden dedicated to. He has a distinct distaste for the scream music genre.

Hobbies

Samir has several main hobbies, one of which is stargazing, perfect on an island with little light pollution to cloud the sky. He tracks the constellations as the seasons go by, and has even painted a replica on the ceiling of his room. Another is paper craft, folding pieces of paper to create forms similar to living creatures, much like origami. His last one is playing a specially modified flute, since playing certain instruments isn’t so easy without lips. Samir has played it since he was young.

Kingdom

He rules a small island off the coast of Furtopia’s main continents, though the title is more ornamental than anything else, as a counsel of 24 representative from all over the island are in charge of regulating the island’s economy and lawmaking. The island makes most of its income from trading. Thanks to Samir’s influence he makes sure that much of the island’s lush lands and wildlife aren’t threatened by developers attempting to profit off of them, though it remains an exhausting effort to do so.
