Currently, the breed possesses natural horse colors often accompanied with some form
of striping. More uncommon colors found within English Chargers include Chestnuts and
bays, as well as sorrels and roans. The horns range in colors from blacks to browns to tans
to whites, and both genders carry a full set of horns. Their height ranges from 13.3-15.2
hh. Sometimes they are referred to as simply 'Chargers', 'British Zebras', 'English Zebras', or
'Ram Horses'.
