What are Xytas?
pronounced zytas
Xytas are an extraterrestrial species from a solar system far from Earth. They are highly intelligent and excel in space travel, giving them the ability to visit almost any planet. The majority of Xytas choose to live on their home planet or on Earth, but there are some that prefer to spend their lives traveling the galaxies. They are identified by their fin-like ears, their antennae, and their long, prehensile tails. They also have soft, iridescent patches on their underbellies, cheeks, elbows, and a pouch of the same texture on their chests. These pouches puff up with air to balance out their density, depending on the gravity of the planet they are on. Xytas can have a wide range of personalities, interests, and experiences, just like human beings.

Rules

• Please do not harass, insult, bribe, or steal from myself, staff, and other community members. Just be courteous, respectful, and have common sense.
• Do not claim this species as your own, or make your own without permission. They are a closed species.
• You may own 5 Xytas. Staff may own 6. This will definitely change as the species grows.
• Please don’t ask to be staff or take on staff duties. I’ll hire staff when I see fit.
• You may not trade/sell your Xyta. You are allowed to gift it or put it up for readoption, as long as you ask me and the original artist first.
• Please do not make edits to your Xyta’s design or lines without permission. Items are fine.
• If you break the rules, you will be given a warning. After three warnings, you will earn a strike. If you earn more than three strikes, you will be banned. Bans can be issued without the three strikes, however, depending on the severity of the situation. I really don’t want drama so please just respect my rules.
• Depending on the circumstances of the ban, your Xytas may be revoked and re-adopted.
• Staff earn customs depending on how much work they do. They can have a max of 3 customs; they must ask me before making them, and they must be made at least a month apart.
• More rules may be added as I see fit.

Rarities

Uncommon - longer/shorter antennae, glow
Rare - body edits, ear edits, hair edits
Very rare - shorter tail, edited chest pouch
