What was the teapot used for before it was turned into a terrarium? The teapot was found in the attic of the house that we moved into, the attic was sealed before we moved in and when we unsealed it for extra storage, we found all the old owners belongings. After seeing the teapot and not really being a big tea drinker, but still loving the look of it, I watched a few youtube videos and decided that a terrarium would be the best thing for the teapot because it would display it's beauty and keep it useful. So one can only assume that the teapots previous owners used it for tea but if it was from the 1920s it was likely used to hide alcohol.
