4 If you won a zimauca, you may keep it as an character, but never claim the character as your own, and never remove the watermark.
5 Always credit us or link back to this thread if you're posting on a non-zimauca related thread or another website.

Zimaucas are thought to be a hybrid of hare, wolf and some kind of equine.

The name 'Zimauca' is thought to be a combination of polish 'zima' for winter and obrzuca for 'pelt'.
Zimaucas are large, rather peaceful creatures living in cold mountains or just any snowy area, really. From paw to forehead, a full grown zimauca is about 17o cm - 2m tall. They have very thick, silky fur to protect them from the cold. There's lots of fur around their legs and tail. A large fluff covers their neck, also to keep them warm. They have long ears. Their hearing is very good, they could hear a predator running a few kilometers away, but their sense of smell is bad. Zimaucas walk on paws. They have tiny wings on their back; completely useless and cannot be used for flight. Scientists think it's a sign of pride and/ or 'sublimity'. They use their wings to show off, mostly.

We should always have at least one set of zimauca litters here; just fill out the form and adopt! A litter contains four zimaucas. You may try for however many you want, but only obtain one. If you do this, please put all of your forms in one post. Thanks! You may only adopt once a week!

Adopting here is easier than adopting from a bred litter - but zimaucas from the pound need a lot more love and time from their owners.Would you be up to the challenge?

Currency

The most common currency here is called orbs. You can use orbs to buy accessories to your Zimaucas, shelter passes, litter passes, breeding items, customs and other cool stuff. To get orbs, you may pay the thread owner chickensmoothie pets.


OMGSC - o.5 orbs
VC - 1 orb
C - 2 orbs
UC - 3 orbs *
2o14 to 2o16 rare - 1o orbs
2o11 to 2o13 rare - 2o orbs
2o1o rare - 35 orbs
2oo9 rare - 45 orbs
2oo8 rare - 7o orbs

*Older than 2o12 will be worth 6 orbs


You may not pay mass quantities of pets that are under the rarity of rare.
If the pet(s) you are paying are on the thread owners wishlist, the orbs you get will be doubled !!

There is not only one type of orb. There are also silver orbs, gold orbs and platinum orbs. Platinum orbs are the rarest orb. You can buy greatly detailed customs with platinum orbs; which is one of the very few ways of acquiring a custom. Golden orbs are second rarest, and they can be used for some special items that gold orbs are required to pay. Silver orbs are just slightly rarer than normal orbs. Silver orbs can be can be used for some special items that silver orbs are required to pay. You can exchange orbs to other orbs both ways.

A silver orb is worth 1o orbs.
A gold orb is worth 2o orbs.
A platinum orb is worth 3oo orbs.


To acquire different orbs, you may compete in events or trade with other users. Silver, golden and platinum orbs are only available in events.

What can I buy in the store?

Duo fragment - It's a tiny, glowing rock. Holding it between two zimaucas seem to make them more willing to breed, like a magnet. The rock dulls down after the two zimaucas have bread, but in a week, it starts giving off a bright shine again. This item is used for breeding zimaucas. You may use this item once a week.
This item can only be purchased with a silver orb.

Shelter pass - It's a little white card with weird letters on it. This item increases your chances of successfully adopting from the shelter.
This item costs 1o orbs or anything equivalent in worth.

Super shelter pass - It's a little blue card with weird letters on it. This item greatly increases your chances of successfully adopting from the shelter.
This item costs 15 orbs or anything equivalent in worth.

Elite shelter pass - It's a huge red check with perfectly written letters on it. This item allows you to adopt zimaucas from the shelter once a month. If you make a form before anyone else, the zimauca is yours instantly.
This item can be purchased with three gold orbs or six silver orbs.

The artists will draw on the original zimauca lineart, but may also make their own lines and colour in! Interested in entering? Yeah, go for it !! And also,, we'd be looking for users that can create small/pixel zimaucas so they can keep 'em in their signature :D

Now you may ask; do I get bonuses from being an artist ?? The answer to that is yes! You may design a zimauca for your own, with, like, a rare trait... ( ͡o ͜ʖ ͡o)
