"AHH!" Astrid shrieked. Terrified, she lost her footing and tumbled hard onto her butt. Rosetta flinched quietly and rushed to her friend's aid. "What's wrong, are you alright?" She asked, offering her paw. "I-It's a s-spider!" Bawled the kit. Rosetta's concerned face melted into a frown. She followed Astrid's wide eyes. Rosetta's ears twitched and she squinted at the black bug, he was so small and blended well into the garden. "Oh, Astrid, come here," she said, and took the troubled girl away from her fear. "You didn't tell me you were afraid of spiders." Astrid sniffed and her answer was a squeak. "I didn't want you to know. I didn't want you to think it was silly." Rosetta wiped a tear from her cheek and smiled warmly. "I don't think it's silly. It's okay to be afraid. But you know, the ones who face their fears lead the most interesting lives." Astrid blushed, ashamed, and looked to the ground. "But how can I do that?" "Come with me," Rosetta said, and led Astrid to a special corner of her garden. A beautiful, old bench stood in the middle of the nook, beside hundreds of daffodils! "Daffodils?" Astrid asked as the two took a seat. "I thought they might make you feel better. They always make me happy. They're so bright, like they're smiling." Astrid couldn't help a small smile slide onto her face. Rosetta gingerly reached for a wilted Daffodil and handed it to Astrid. "Daffodils don't last long, so I like to imagine they go away with my fears." "I see why you like them so much. Thanks, Rosie."

They're the only flower shes found that she really likes, and she likes every color that they come in, but the black ones are definitely her favorite.

Explanation
Long before she was born, her Grandmother planted a small Wisteria vine outside of their home. When she tragically passed away, her mother was only a pup and the purple flowers always reminded her of her mother. By the time Belldandy was born, the vine had grown into a weed that spread across their roof, it caused leaks and allowed smaller creators to get into their house. For a long time, it was nuisance to Bell, her mother and her Grandfather who also lived with them but they never once touched the vine that had now grown into a tree. Years passed and her mother married another Kalon and said they'd be moving away, but first she wanted to take care of the place she grew up in. Her mother went to cut down the tree, but the first branch she broke flung back and smacked her in the face. She'd cried to her father 'she hit me!' before Bell realized why they'd kept this plant around for so long. Ever since then, she loved Wisteria because it reminds her of the Grandmother she never met, the one who have seven kits, who raised them all right. It wasn't just a pretty flower anymore, each Wisteria vine, tree or weed was a reminder of the life one could easily take or give
