extras: Percy loves to tell the tale of how he got his red markings. Long ago, when he was just a little Chirping Fox (kit), he was separated from his family from the Great Flood. He traveled far and wide to find them, toughening up his tiny body. Alas, it was useless. He began to believe that he would never find them, becoming more and more discouraged until he was hanging onto a single thread of hope. Finally, a Docked Chirping Fox found him and took him in, sensing his broken heart. Little did Percy know, this Chirping Fox was not normal. The kind caretaker taught Percy how to hunt for himself, care for himself, and travel safely and stealthily. One day, when Percy was strong and clever enough to survive on his own, the old Chirper gave him directions to a mysterious. "Go here, and your heart will be mended once again," were his words clicks. Although Percy had been given no clue about this place, he vowed to. He left the following day, and made his way through humid jungles, scathing deserts, and freezing tundras. When he arrived at his destination, he discovered a small community of English Classic Chirpers, and stayed in a family's den for the night. Morning came, and he went to thank the family for their care. But when he saw them properly for the first time, his words faltered and his eyes widened. It was his family! They all tenderly nuzzled Percy after they recognized him, and told him that they didn't recognize him from his red markings. At first, he was confused, but when he studied his fur for the first time, he remembered a saying that he didn't get at first when his caretaker told him it.

Some stay with family.
Those that go
On the adventures
Can gain something special.
If their journey is special
Long and tough and rewarding
They will get the red marks.
Nobody knows why
But they are placed on a adventurer.

extras: Maya was good friends with Percy before he disappeared. After he did, she refused to leave her family's den. Day after day, she ate little. After a month, she finally emerged from the comfy area, and shaded her eyes with her tail. She was surprised at how normal the place looked, Chirpers bustling around the community. No devastation at all. Her eyes automatically turned towards Percy's den, forgetting he wasn't there. Maya half expected to hear his gleeful voice, and her eyes began to water at the heavy silence around the house. That day, she made a decision. This was the day that she met the traveling wizard, also known as Percy's caretaker.

A Closer Look at Talon...
Talon is...well...a bit unique. She is not like most of her kind. She may be a hunter but that's where the similarities with her kind end. She is a vivid explorer, observer, collector, and she's always reaching for the stars. Even though her life span is a bit in the short side, she takes ever challenge head on! She's always willing to start or end a fight...may that fight be a dance fight, or a regular old brawl she likes to come out on top. If she happens to lose you know she'll be back to claim (what she feels) her title of number one. She will amit (if you press her) that she has lost just about as many fights as she's won, but surprisingly enough, her most trusted friends and allies are some who have manage to win against her! It takes some real strength to earn Talon's trust, but once you have it, you would have to do something extremely stupid to lose it. Anyone who is her friend as been through a lot with her. Some may say anything from out racing mountain slides to dodgeing arrows, while at her side. Talon is a thinker, nothing gets past her, she is not quick to judge on how one acts but slowly develops her thought about that creature or person slowly. Talon is always paying attention even if you think she's not, all information she collects, she uses to figure things out and to build a better understanding about someone who is mentioned or even the said person who said the information. She watches everyone and anyone, her memory is like nothing anyone has seen, she is willing to share anything she has learned with anyone..for..a ciertan...price. Talon is a collector of sorts as well. If she wants something bad enough, she will climb mountains, jump from cliffs into water, trudge through the desert, even go to the depths of a mummies tomb. A good amount of her friend think she may be crazy but no one is willing telling that to her face. Another thing is that you never want to cross her, nor to double cross her, she has a temper that remains mellow until someone lights the match, then it all goes to flames. If you anger,betray or anything of that sort she is sure to do to you what you did to her. Don't lie to Talon, she respects anyone who tells the truth rather than a lie.

So in overall, she may not be the most spectacular of her kind but she does keep her friends close and always, always manages to find trouble of one sort or another. She not afraid to face anyone rather it be a fight or a heated discussion. Talon is loyal to those who are loyal to her in return, she will walk with anyone and if you give her a reason she will stand by your side to the end. Her life maybe short but she sure as ever will live it to the fullest. Anyone who has meet her can vouch to that!
