What do you guys do to keep from getting bored of your fursona?

I don't have an official fursona, but the way I see it. A fursona is like a manifestation of what you want to present to the world (like a first impresssion). So I find it normal as you grow up that your interests changes and that in a way your fursona changes with you. The many revamps you do to your fursona is just your it's way of growing. I've had this situation with my personas turned OC. I made three of them while I was in high school and they took a life of their own. Now I have Laurel as my persona and when she won't represent me as much she'll probably become an OC and I'll craft another persona/fursona.

What do you guys do to keep from getting bored of your fursona?
I just make sure to design them in such a way that I would never want to lose them.(now anyway) I have had Naos ever since I made a permanent username change. that was about a year ago I think. She just fits me so well and she has a lot of the attributes I have body shape wise. I can't help but love her forever.

Made a new character!

Mmm well roleplaying and keeping your fursonas active helps, but if you're not a roleplay person like me, having your fursona have a family like kids or a mate also helps. I have gotten bored of fursonas in the past and just retired them

What do you guys do to keep from getting bored of your fursona?
i didn't click with Avrel at first, but after i started working on his personality and getting some relationships for him he grew closer and closer. Now i love him to death, though i haven't been doing anything with him for a while due to me working Dx

Avrel isn't exactly like me, and im more than sure i have one or two ocs that are more similar to me than he is, but he's the one i can connect with the most.

i think fursonas are the same as any character. if you don't actively use them then they'll quickly lose their luster. Try and find some friends for them or even a mate, temporarily or permanently. Draw them a few times or even use them in rps. The more you get a feel for what a character is like, the more personal they'll become.


i've gotten some new art and a new oc.
