Personality and History
Rosario is a sweet female, she is really kind and likes to help people out. She gave herself her surname after running away from home, to embarassed to live with her parents any longer. She was once in love but had her heart broken and has learnt not to trust males any longer because they judge you by your parents, or well they did at least for her. She has lived alone for probably around three years now so she knows how to look after herself. She isn't very fond of animals or small creature, including insects, because her emotions other then kindness pretty much left her when she ran away. Her hair used to be her mother's hair colour, brown, so she decided to dye it a different colour, orange with pink highlights as you can see, so nobody would recognise her being related to her mother. She was named Rosario because of her love of roses and flowers of all kinds, the Latin noun Rosarium means "rosegarden" or "garland of roses".

Explaining her surname choice
Rosario chose 'Shadowland' as her surname to prove how lonely she is. 'Shadow' for her name means the shadows of people you left behind or that left you on your own and 'Land' in her name is saying that she lives in a land full of these shadows. Another reason she chose this surname was so she couldn't forget her past, another definition of shadow is the shadows of your past.

Why I Want Her
She reminds me of myself by looks. If I had lighter hair and pink highlights we'd look partly the same, she is also wearing something I'd normally/like to wear. Another reason is because she looks like a character I would use a lot, mostly because I use human OCs a lot but I also like her design so that would make me use her more.

jayleen can be described as an
shy, introverted girl who doesn't
want to party and really just prefers
to stay home and think about life as
she draws. she feels as if she's a
small artist in a crowd of much larger
ones, fighting to get noticed. she
prefers to draw in muliple styles,
ranging from semi-realistic to
chibi. she has plans to be a concept
artist.

getting deeper, jayleen had a semi-
rough childhood. her parents got div-
orced at the age of 8, and shortly af-
ter, her father got in an accident and
died. he died from drinking and driving.
to this day, jayleen has not had a drop
of alcohol.

living with her mum full time now,
jayleen was forced to get a job in order
to help pay bills to keep their place.
unfortunately, that didn't work and
they had to move into a less-expensive
home. that helped a lot, since jayleen
got a better job. after graduating and
lots of over-hour shifts, jayleen had
gotten enough money to go to college.
she studied in the arts and the english
language. still in college, jayleen moved
into a small apartment in her small
town. she works at a local coffee
shop and makes even more money
with commissions ordered from total
strangers on the Internet.

you see, the reason why i want this
gem is because i feel like she has
the potential to be a great character.
of course, great characters can be
normal college students! i have
many, such as my lovely Layla.
I think she'll fit in with my
other characters quite well,
honestly. all of them are extraordinary
in their own way, and i just think
this lil girl here would be perfect
for me!

Hi everyone!
both donation and revamp rules were updated today. please go give 'em a quick looksee.
any characters donated within the last two pages that are affected by the rule changes (none of which were put up) still belong to the owners, and won't be put up. so Samuel Beechworth and beneath, your characters still belong to you. (though if you still wish to donate them, I'm sure we can figure out a compromise via PM if you'd like.)
for anyone who's curious about the changes to donation rules, it doesn't have anything to do with anyone who's posted here. I actually run a similar adoption agency to this on another site, and I had an incident that arose there recently which sprung from someone requiring they be allowed to help judge their character. to give you the gist of it, they were being very pushy when they were online, and they kept going offline for long periods of time which delayed judging a ton because I couldn't get a hold of them. if you'd like a more detailed explanation, feel free to PM me. I don't think anyone here is going to pull the same stuff, but it was a real headache to get that situation sorted out and I'd rather not risk going through it again so I'm going to change the rules. I'm really sorry if this bugs anyone - again, anyone who requested to help judge may keep their character due to the change, and you can PM me if you'd like to work out a different arrangement. thank you, and again, sorry for the sudden change.

|•|P e r s o n a l i t y; Sonika is very outgoing and brave. She is very independent and wants to make a difference. She's extremely defiant, and if someone tells her she's one thing, she does anything in her power to prove them wrong. She's very accepting to everyone, but will put her foot down to jerks and bullies. She speaks her mind on everything, even if it gets her in trouble- the reason most teachers don't like her. However, Sonika is overall the most noble cat anyone would ever meet, and would make the ideal friend for anyone to have <33 |•|

|•|H i s t o r y; When she was younger, Sonika was the complete opposite in terms of personality. She was very shy and weak, |unable to stand up to jerks. She was bullied for years, and nobody did anything about it. This ultimately lead her to take matters |into her own hands and realize that she was worth something. She stood up to those bullies and nobody was a jerk to her again. |She now helps and stands up for others who are bullied, getting others to stand up for themselves. |•|

|•|W h y I W a n t H e r; I think she'd be a really fun character to have! I already have so many ideas for her, to be honest. Most of my characters are shy or extremely happy, and I feel like she will balance everything out a little bit. She'd be a lot of fun to draw, and I would love to make a whole bunch of stories about her adventures to stop bullying <33 |•|
