i don't really mind that there's a lot of ads bc, i mean, it's kind of hard to start a discussion when there's this many people unless we're given some sort of specific subject to talk about? plus, personally, i like looking through ads anyway haha... although i think some people post the same things too many times (not thinkin of anyone in particular, i just know i keep clicking on the same links)

trax !! i've had them since early 2010 i think and they've only gone through one mild design change. they're not the most eye-catching and actually their design kind of sucks but it's familiar and i'm fond of it (-:

Do you have a fursona? Tell us about them!
My first fursona was not very unique--she was all black with a white star on both shoulders, white muzzle, and white hind right leg. Her eyes were blue, and her name was "Andromeda". I loved her to pieces, because she represented me on the inside, all my thoughts and true feelings rather than the shy reluctance to speak on the outside.
Now, I don't have a single fursona (or at least not yet, until I develop all of my OCs more and figure out which one matches me the best. Even though I was born a female and still identify as one, I've been considering a male fursona--just because it's interesting and, hey, why not?
What do you think multiple fursonas?
I think they're great, because then you can have many bits and pieces of you in different designs.
What is your favorite type of YCH?
I don't really have one- most that I see are gorgeous. Like earlier, I saw one I loved from an artist here (I forget the name...) of a character sitting in a rainy alley while a car speeds by behind them.
What is one REAL animal species that you feel should be more popular when it comes to characters?
Oh, geez, I have no clue.. all of them? I feel like there should be more diversity at all, rather than mostly canine. There's nothing wrong with canines, it's just that there are billions of canine OCs. I love big cats and I made a zebra OC who doesn't have a proper ref sheet yet, but I'm working on it.
If you could, what 1 character would you pick if you had the ability to make them real? and why?
All of them
I feel like this is sort of a "what's your favorite book" type of question, and so then I can't really answer it well... I have a list of reasons why I would make every OC real, but the first one I thought of was Vixen, a wolf who had been trapped in a facility, and his body had a metal structure under his skin, mostly in his jaw and his bionic eye. He has a whole list of problems, just like I do.

How long have you been a member of CAAA? Have you seen any artists improve while here?
I've been a member for a few months, and tbh it moves so fast I haven't seen any specific examples, but there is a lot of gorgeous art that I drool over here <3
and I can't answer the other 2 because I can't choose cx

I spend a lot of time on DA and i have TONS of favorite artists, not to mention tumblr and other social media, so i'm only going to talk about the character-related artists X3

Earflower - I love her style and sincerely, everything on her art? She makes it look so alive and cute/rad at the same time.

quardiian - Not to mention their extremely perfect designs, i used to be a friend of them since i joined CAAA. I saw their art improving and such, i miss them </3

Colonel (colonel-strawberry) - I love their designs

Kazooz - My good friend and little baby. I saw they improving more and more in their art <3

I have to agree with what I have read of the answers to my own question.
Cheap is definitly a big one - and I really like the answers about being able to be a wide variety of species.

Concerning the whole AD thing

I feel that people are just taking advantage of the whole 'must comment on three peoples things'
I believe that sometimes ads are fine when they are a part of a whole post that includes art of their characters and comments and answers to questions, ect. (lol - I am a hypocrite ^^; //fail// )
and I ABSOLUTELY agree with Dragongoddest - there are favorites. I have been around CAAA long enough to see the favorites come and go (mostly to DA). And me - not being a fav (I don't believe ^^;) feel left out a lot ;n;

Well, I don't quite have characters that are like nerd "themed," but I do have KC who is a librarian who likes video games & comics, and my fursona Ramona who is an avid reader and gamer (and sometimes she wears glasses).

i like the gootail still having the bones in it too ,usually i see a goo-tail or a bony tail, not usually together, its neat though, id offer name suggestions but goshknows i cant even figure out ones for my own charas
also that rain/alley ych was me methinks
@salinity aah that charas super cool, i love the outfit /how the companion works with their design, like the tail too, is she based on a specific animal? I cant quite tell though thats a neat ambiguity

In regards to ads, i dont personally mind them as long as theres..something in the post ? other than ads
I find it tricky to respond to people without just kinda..putting something lame in reply if all theyre doing is selling characters
or sticking up a link to a stream or a sale journal

Personally I tend to like couple and group ych, it tends to be more difficult to find this kind of art then a single character so I like finding them cause its an easier way to get couple/group art, i prefer flatsales to auctions

I have two /v/
One is Cas, my male sona and 'main' sona, he represents anxiety and depression
while in contrast, my other sona is ofcourse six, my female sona and more a representation of the 'good times'

I think people can have as many sonas as they want ;v; personally i stick to two because it works for me, i had one for a long time, but in the end whatever makes them happy

Do you have a fursona? Tell us about them!
Yup! My fursona is a "red" Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Willow Rose! Her personality, likes, dislikes, everything about her is based on me. So she is obsessed with rainbows and pandas. Her hobbies include writing stories, drawing, and reading. Willow is extremely shy and quiet when she first meets people, but once she warms up to someone she'll start to blossom and show how goofy she is. She has been dating Viktor (my rl boyfriend's fursona) for almost two years, and she is super happy and totally smitten with him!



What do you think of multiple fursonas?
I have no problem with multiple fursonas because I have had multiples fursonas in the past. So if people want to have more than one, that's their choice! I started off with 3 fursonas. There was Chazlutos, a bright red cat with a rainbow-striped tail, who embodied all of my sour and grumpy personality traits. Then there was Kupid, a winged dog with some rainbow features, who had all of my goofy and silly personality traits. And last was Niji, a panda with rainbow markings, who pretty much just got whichever of my personality traits I wanted to give her.

If you have more that one fursona, tell us why, and what they mean to you!
Well, three years ago I realized that even though I liked my 3 fursonas, I didn't like having 3 of them. I wanted a single fursona who was, essentially, me in all ways - except for the fact they're a fictional animal, of course! Before then, my fursonas meant quite a lot to me. They were the characters I got the most art of and spent the most time developing and working on. Now I spend more time getting art for Willow because I feel like she really does represent me!
