How to Adopt
These dogs aren't individual designs to adopt like in character adoption agencies - they're more like the CS pets where many people can adopt and use the same pet. To ‘adopt’ one, just copy/paste the code where you want to use it in the forum. :3 You don’t have to post or ask permission before using a code, and there is no limit on how many you can use. Yes, it is that easy, and anyone can use the codes of any of the dogs listed here. You can put them in an Other Adoptables post, in your signature (My account -> Profile -> Edit signature), in your character thread, etc., and you're welcome to use them as RP characters, get art of them, write stories about them, etc., like with CS pets ^^
FAQ
Do the puppies change to adults automatically? Puppies are not growable and will instead stay cute little puppies forever. Adult versions are available of some puppies, so just copy the adult's code if you want the adult version of it. :3 Occasionally people will be able to vote from a particular set of puppies for which ones they want to see grown versions of the most - there will be a notice up on the main page when puppy voting is open.
Do they need clicks? No, they don't, because they don't change.
Can I use them on other sites? So long as they aren't edited in any manner and they are credited to me, yes, they can be used on other sites. This includes using them for dog images on Dynasty. :3
Can I change the names? You're welcome to call yours whatever you want, as the names are only here to help identify each dog within this thread. :3
Can you make a solid white Border Collie? No, there will be no pure white border collies, due to it being a potentially severe health issue that results in blindness and/or deafness in affected dogs (some are born with no eyes at all). That's why the merles here won't be bred together, because breeding merles together can produce a solid/mostly white double-merle pup.
Can you make me a custom or specific coat colour? I'm not doing any custom dogs, but I am willing to take suggestions on markings and colours for new adoptable border collies, with the following requirements:
- Must be real border collie markings and colours (e.g. no hearts, no green or purple, no dalmation spots)
- If I do make a dog following your suggestions, it will be available for anyone to adopt, not just you

Breeding
The adult border collies are occasionally bred by me to get a litter of puppies, and you can vote on which border collies you'd like to have paired up as parents of the next set of puppies. ^^ Every border collie here has a unique genetic profile, so depending on which dogs are bred together, they can have some surprising outcomes!
Breeding Rules
- Merles (Kip, Zeph, Jake, Hap and Danny) cannot be bred together due to the risk of their pups being double merle. They can be safely bred to any of the others though. ^^
- Dogs can't be bred to their siblings or parents/grandparents.
- The dogs have no set genders, regardless of their names - there are no restrictions so far as dogs being male or female.
- While not a rule, per se, I'd prefer to have every dog bred once before re-breeding dogs that have already had a litter, just to increase the variety and make sure all the genetics are in play.
