do you need to use a bell when you breed? I know that it is closed and costs 100♪but I would like to know for when it actually does open

Using a bell is not necessary, as long as you aren't breeding a custom or a SR who's still on their cooldown. The other bells just give you the ability to have little bit of control of the breeding (bigger litter, darker colours etc.), but are not necesary. c:
