Been a while since I've done one of these. I just get tired of repeating the same wolf stuff voer and over again I guess lmao
Try to study muscle structure of the species itself or similar species. For almost any animal or creature, you can find a picture of its skeleton. Put this availability of knowledge to your advantage. Also make sure to study the way animals move and how motion affects second-hand things such as fur, ears, the tail, etc.
One of my biggest pet peeves(although in case of art style I don't mind it) is the common pasted ears. There are special membranes that attach the foreward-most skin of the ear to the top of the cranium in most if not all cases of predatory animals.
Noses on mammals in the taxonomic family canidae are almost always square in shape and are not relatively flat surfaces like those on felines. This is one of the biggest and most common mistakes I find.
Nonetheless you did really well! I thought it was cute. <3
If you have any more questions just ask. ;u;
Howdy!
I'm deer and I enjoy
natural history, taxidermy, dog training
animal crossing, homesteading, and art

May I ask why you wish to be added? There's only two layers, your drawing and mine, so there isn't anything more to see or do.

Oh, sorry but I only use my redlines for teaching purposes. Apologies.
