YOUR QUESTION:
Simplify.
x^4 y^7
---------
xy^3
The ^# things are exponents and the line between the two numbers is a fraction/division sign. I've spent 20 minutes trying to figure this one out but it just keeps coming out to the same answer that is wrong. Help?

YOUR QUESTION:
H2O2 + H2O -> ???
Context: hydrogen peroxide is added to lake water to help kill algae bloom.
Have to write the chemical equation for it but I'm not sure what it really creates?
I can't seem to find anything on it with Google. I'm not sure if it synthesizes and becomes H4O3(which I can't find anything on either) but I don't know what else it could create?

I can't seem to find anything on it with Google. I'm not sure if it synthesizes and becomes H4O3(which I can't find anything on either) but I don't know what else it could create?It might have something to do with the pH of the water, so it could be something like H2O2 + H2O -> H3O+ + HO2- but I'm not sure (actually far from sure, tbh) so I think you should do some more research on it ^-^
Hope this helped, though!
