AkiToki, I thought you couldn't get help from anyone...

Unless I'm mistaken. The number of adoptable threads I've been on...
im basically never on, so if you wanna with trade me or if you message me, be prepared to wait a while for a response. this account is first and foremost a personal archive for sentimentality's sake as it was a big part of my childhood.

Tracker Dog you want: #6 ; the stealth

Name you'll give it: Τίγρη ; Tracker # ID 4345734

Reason why you want it: It remembers me of a tiger, most likely it could be used for tracking illegal pouchers hunters or anything else in the jungle.

Will it be used in any kind of story?: Yes, I'm really thinking of making her just a normal team with Radiation. She hunts the illegal hunters, while Radiation seeks any Radiation. Most likely she can be found in a Jungle Like place with a lot of trees and important things or much valued animals.

Describe its personality: Very brave will give her life up to save others , will attack to stop the hunters if needed , very loving and quiet , can easily lure the men away , plays mind tricks and often tricks the hunters.

Write an introduction for your Tracker:
{ This WILL be in Tigra's eyes }

-------- Day 1 ; Training --------
{ The basic steps }

Day 1, the basic learning going over rules and learning the leader ship role which is not played by me. It is played by my handler, my mother the alpha. We must learn to stop attacking during are stealth mode at once when the alpha says so. It was hard but I passed through it, which made all the other's feel happy. The rules were simple listen to my alpha, attack when told and track the hunters. Not easy but I'd give my life up to say other lives. Since saving 2 is worth losing another, my saying I life by it along with the rules simple facts and badges I could earn. I'd learn to be a honorable life saving stealth tracker dog. The markings of a tiger allow me to say real ones from certain death, from greedy man who could earn themselves quick cash.

----------- Day 2 ; Training ----------
{ Mind Games }

Day 2, after reviewing Day 1 training again we start learning ''Mind Games ''. Which is playing games and mind games on the men. Which is throwing a stick in the bushes or appearing and ''disappearing'' the hardest to master. We show are are selves and quickly bolt to a few other places before throwing sticks in all other directions making them think there are more than 1 steath's tracking them. We then are tested I passed again moving to the final day. Day 3, the hardest one and final tests on everything we learned. Yes it is short 2 days of training but we train for a long time maybe 12 hours f or each day. After my duty master says she will retire me to live with the family, but I'd always be up to the job even if I am injured.

---------- Day 3 ; Training ---------
{ Final Test & scent ''training ''' }

Day 3, I was very tired after that day of training. Hard work yes but it paided off by far. First we reviewed everything from the past 2 days, then we learned to ''smell''. Which is tracking certain scents, and showing Alpha the one who carries it. I passed but we had to do 3 final tests. Each of the days first the basic steps which was easy enough we all passed. Day 2, which was the mind games all of us but 2 passed and were sent back to ''Day 2'' of training. Finally Day 3 the day of scent training, only 3 of us passed luckily I was one of them. The final 4th test I was left on my own and was the only one that passed. I got 4 training badges for passing all of the trainings with flying colors. I was proud along with Alpha. For a few days I rested then a call came, My first mission!

-------- UPLOAD ON LOG COMPLETE ----------

Search Log ONE ; Illegal Hunters

Search Day 1 { SD1 }, today we were searching in one certain part of the jungle. A common place for tigers or other valued animals are found along with Hunters. The illegal ones who seem to want to hunt these animals into extinction. Their scent was horrible and easy to track, would soon found the camp. Luckily all of the animals they caught were alive so we released them and burned the camp, but watched carefully to make sure the forest didn't catch on fire. We then tracked them to a clearing, they were setting up traps. We tricked them and got proof pictures and everything. We then played our mind games soon tricking them into their own traps and caught. That day was a successful mission, but not all will be.

Search Log TWO ; Illegal Tree Cutters

SD2, today was the day we were looking for tree cutters who were illegally cutting unneeded trees down. This was hard since they all smelled the same in the hunts. The bad part was it was near a ''hot-zone'' a place were war is hitting. We all barley managed to escape with our lives and the end of the trees. Some of them freshly lay cut down or falling from the shots. Lots of booming went around me sounding like thunder and shrapnel flying around. I luckily avoided it along with everyone else. It was very scary thinking I could lose my life from SD2 from the ''hot-zone''. But another successful mission, we easily caught them since they were resting. Handcuffing them we boarded a helicopter to base camp and I got awarded a new badge plus earned myself an official, harness collar and other protective gear.

Search Log THREE ; Illegal Hunters , Tree Cutters and Poachers

SD3, today was probably the hardest. We had to catch pros who both hunted and cut trees down illegally. There smell was easy to find and detect, but they lay traps all around there camp making it very hard to get to the camp. We found them, but most o the other trackers were caught in the traps. I played my mind games trick and all of them fell for it. Except the leader I managed to lead the ''members'' into there own traps, only the leader remains. My heart was pounding and I was shaking, since he was large and knives were everywhere. I growled and barked her flinched but soon came racing at me, I easily dodged him and bit his legs. He fell down and got stuck in one of the traps. I quickly howled and tried to tie him up. But he wiggled and turned I also had to watch out for his hands since he tried to grab me. Soon help came and successfully captured all of the people. I smiled to myself another successful mission, another successful day. I then got a medal of honor and a lot of shiny badges. My owner was so proud of me, waves of honor and love radiationed from her. I wagged my tail and they took many photos. I was so happy and was eager to complete many other missions.

Τίγρη completed 32 more missions successfully and failed only 2. She now lives as a retired family ''pet'' but still is eager to work and please her owner and everyone else, save lives and be happy while doing her missions.

Tracker Dog you want:
#6
Name you'll give it:
Revo (Short for Revolution)
Reason why you want it:
I've always loved the "rough and tough" characters who can go out in battle and succeed, but this time I was looking for a character to work more behind the scenes in war time, to fit my idea. I had the idea recently for a Stealth Track to be used in the military for gathering info, and when she came up she seemed perfect. She had no set purpose yet, which made it very easy for me to fit my idea to her. Her coloring also works well for the type of work she would be doing, it would keep her hidden in the shadows when moving across open areas as she makes her way to her selected target building, as well as when she is field scouting in thick underbrush, which is where she will be primarily used when not listening in on enemy plans.
It's also pretty obviously true that she looks like a tiger, and I have been in love with big cats (of all types) for quite awhile, something about the amount of power they seem to possess; with her having these markings it's like she was built to have power, and never back down from a challenge (at least in my eyes)
Will it be used in any kind of story?
Yes, most likely quite a few mini-stories which may evolve into one big story. Her handler is named Fin, he is brave soldier in battle but has a kind voice and a soft humor, he shares a personality a bit like Revo's and as a result they are able to work as equals together. She will work as a spy for gathering intelligence on enemy plans, as well as scouting out areas before attacking during WWII. Most of her work will be carried out at night, and only rarely during the day when it is necessary to have her listen-in on enemy leaders (however, she is awake during the day as that is when most of her training exercises with Fin will occur
Describe its personality:
Dominant: She has a very take-charge attitude, when she wants things done right she does them herself
Irritable: She is easily annoyed by soldiers who do not know what needs to be done, or commanding officers who just act like they know what needs to be done
Focused on work: Fin is her only real friend and she doesn't take the time to make any others, work is the most important. She will do a job willingly almost every time; the only exception being when she is forced to work without Fin.
Wishes for peace: She desires to have a warm home, away from danger and war but she covers it up since her duties are more important at the moment
Afraid of heights: She hates flying, as she learns in this part of the story. Perhaps this will become more developed later on, but for now she is simply just glad she is not an Aerial Tracker.
Write an introduction for your Tracker: (this is a bit of a WWII Era historical fiction, it involves the US advance on Japan, specifically The Battle Of Midway, the battle that marked the turn in who was on offensive and who was on defensive, there isn't much involving it in this section of the story, but in my head it continues on)
~~~The following is Fin's notebook, basically the story from his point of view, Revo's point of view is in black.~~~~~~
March 15, 1942
I swear, Niles is out of his mind now. He wants to bring a dog in to work as a spy. I'm not sure how he expects a dog to help us out with but he says this dog is a special breed. A tracker he calls it, sounds more like a police dog than a spy to me. This had better turn out better than I'm thinking it will.
March 17, 1942
I'm happy to say I was proven wrong. The teams new dog (or should I say my new dog? I've become her handler) is wonderful. She is a Stealth Tracker, developed specifically for spying. She is a dream to work with, already in the two days she has been here she has made tremendous progress in learning the signals that she and I must use to work as a team. I have decided to call her Revolution, but Revo for short.
March 23, 1942
Revo and I have finished our basic training, we must keep practicing; however, as we must stay sharp in case we are needed. It will be rather boring until we have a job, but for now it is all that is required of us and we will get it done right.
In other news, Revo has started to act less professional around me, I think she's starting to consider us friends and not just work partners; I'm glad of this as I feel the same.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was all new to me. The ringing sounds of gunshots in my ears, bright flashes made by tanks as they fired missiles at approaching soldiers, it was chaotic, but it fit me. Being here meant I was ready to work rather than waste my time on simple training exercises. They had paired me up with a man named Lieutenant Fin; he seemed to be a nice enough man, firm expression yet soft words when he spoke. He was tall and lanky, his sandy brown hair always getting in his eyes, probably only 20 years old at most. He had given me the name "Revolution" yet he always called me Revo instead, he said it was too proper to always call me by my full name. We had to train together nearly constantly to insure we could work flawlessly as a team. We both learned various silent signals. For me, a short tail wag meant "all clear"; a sharp turn of the head meant "go back"; laying my ears down meant "enemies ahead: caution". For Fin, an upward movement with his hand and then down again quickly in a slicing movement meant "Go Ahead" or "Start Mission"; a fist brought to his chest meant "Be on guard"; two fists brought together in front of him meant "Return to base". Of course there were quite a few more, but those were the basics. Life was pretty simple like that for awhile, but it did get awfully boring.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(This now jumps about a month ahead)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Lieutenant Fin, bring Revolution here now!" Sergeant Niles called over the booming megaphone. I snarled as I heard his voice, I had hardly been here a month and already I hated that man. He was much too harsh with his voice, and he didn't have the backbone in the field to back it up; not to mention he always insisted on using my full name, which was in itself enough of a bother. Lieutenant Fin, the man who had been assigned to be my primary handler, looked forlornly at the entrance to the barracks, where no doubt Sergeant Niles would appear if we did not get a move on. After returning the notebook he had been writing in to its place beneath the thin pillow on his bunk, Fin slipped my collar over my head and clipped the lead on, leading me out onto the small island which had become our home for the last month as we waited our next chance to advance on Japan. We had been leap-frogging from island to island for quite a while now, and these islands were only our most recent advancement. As expected, Sergeant Niles was waiting just outside the barracks with a smug look on his face, he spoke quickly and was hard to understand but I caught something like:
"They're having a meeting tonight. Important one. Spies have seen many leaders entering their General's tent. Revolution is wanted for listening in. We will send you out at 21 hundred hours. Be Ready."
I looked up at Fin with a look to say "I'm Ready". Fin looked down at me, saw what I meant and Said,
"We're Both Ready. Where will we approach from?"
"You will be deciding that yourselves. I have sent reconnaissance soldiers to scope out the woods near the General's tent, they have orders to report to you what they find."
"Yes Sir."
And with that we left to await the recon soldiers' return.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was nearly 21 hundred hours, time to get in position. Using the information we had gained from the recon soldiers, we decided it would be best to make our approach from the east side of the opposing General's tent. It was a flat area, but it had plenty of underbrush to conceal us as we made our approach. Making short but frequent advances Fin and I were within 20ft of the tent within minutes, though it seemed much longer. This was as far as Fin was to accompany me. I made another advance on my own, which brought me to only 15ft from the tent and waited for Fin's silent command to move in. I kept my head sideways, parallel to the tent so as to keep one optic on Fin and one on the guards patrolling the edge of the area. I had my ears pricked, ready to warn Fin of any danger I could hear approaching. Once I was sure it was clear I waved my tail at Fin, telling him it was quiet and I could move in when ready. Fin took one last sweep with his binoculars before raising his hand and bringing it down quickly in a slicing motion, my signal to move in. I took off immediately, already knowing my course of action, first to the clump of bushes with bright red fruits on them, then pause. Next, to the large tree with a split trunk that I could peer through without being seen. And so on until I finally reached the edge of the tent. I maneuvered myself in between the soft rubber-like fabric of the tent and some barrels that obviously contained some sort of weaponry. Careful not to disturb the fabric and alert the enemy leaders to my presence, I situated myself into a position which would allow me to listen closely, yet be comfortable for a long period of time. They seemed to be talking about an attack they were planning, something about "Midway".
"We need to attack soon, they are advancing much to quickly" said one officer, he didn't sound like he was in charge; only making a suggestion.
"Calm yourself Sergeant, we will attack only when we are prepared" This man sounded like the General; I kept listening.
"Yes Sir, I will ready my troops. We will join the attack when you give the command."
"It's settled then, everyone will wait for my command before attacking Midway, for now we will plan on attacking in June."
And with that, the conversation ended. I waited until all the leading officers had left and I heard only quiet from inside the tent, then, making one final check to see where the guards were, I repeated my advancing method from earlier in a retreat pattern, making my way back to Fin. From there we made our return to the US camp together; checking behind ourselves frequently for any pursuers.
When we returned Sergeant Niles was waiting. This was hardly unexpected of course, but seeing him always made my fur prick with irritation.
"I trust your mission was successful?" He sneered in that awfully harsh tone of his.
"Yes Sir, Revo has heard plans of a Japanese attack set for June." Fin answered, never one to bow down to a harsh superior.
"Go on"
"They plan to attack midway, they are assembling a force to carry out the attack."
The Sergeant looked down his nose at Fin, hardly seeming to be appreciative of the tremendous help we had done him. "very well, I will warn the officers at midway, we have done our part."
"But Sir, shouldn't we aid in defending against the attack? It sounds as if Japan is assembling a very large force" Fin protested, he did not like to lie dormant when there was an attack emerging.
"I have said what we will do and you are to listen." and with that Sergeant Niles stormed off, hardly seeming like he knew what to do at all.
"That's it." Said Fin in a low voice to me, "I'm not listening to him anymore, I'm going to the General first thing in the morning to request that both of us be stationed in Midway." I looked up at him, I was alarmed at this side of Fin, he had never shown it before; he might not have liked Sergeant Niles, but he never completely went against a superior.
"For now, we should both get some rest, you did very well tonight Revo" He smiled at me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Surprisingly, Fin had been successful in his attempt to have us moved to Midway, which is where were headed now. The plane carrying us was heavily armored, built for battle not for ferrying passengers from one place to another. I tried to sleep most of the way as the high altitude messed with my senses in a way I couldn't explain; I was glad I wasn't an aerial tracker like some of my cousins, I couldn't deal with the heights so much of the time. When we landed at Midway I could immediately tell it was run in a much different way than Sergeant Niles' mess of a base. There were many more soldiers out and about, everyone was confident in themselves and it was clear someone was in charge who knew what he was doing. I was going to like it here.
"Come on Revo, we need to find Corporal Evans, he will show us to our new barracks." Called Fin, I took my eyes off of the amazing site of an organized camp and trotted after Fin, claws clicking on the cement sidewalks, something else that we did not have at Niles' camp, it was hard to think it was similar at all.
After about ten minutes of searching and asking passing soldiers where to find Corporal Evans we finally found him in a large office building that was brightly lit with fluorescent lighting. I blinked several times trying to get my optics to adjust before following Fin and the Corporal into a small office that seemed especially claustrophobic.
"Welcome Lieutenant Fin" Said the Corporal.
"Pleasure to be here sir, I'm grateful of the opportunity to fight along side the many men here." Fin replied, adopting his formal tone that he always used with commanding officers.
"I've heard about how you and your... ah... tracker? is that what she is?" I made a low rumble noise in my throat, he should know about the trackers, after all a fair number of them served in the military, or at least that's what some told me.
"Yes sir, she is a stealth tracker, she specializes in gathering intelligence on enemy attacks"
"Yes, that's right, she was the one who listened in on the Japanese leaders' meeting wasn't she?"
"That's correct."
"I see... well I hope she will be of just as much use to us here"
"I'm sure she will be, she is rather flexible in what she can do"
Major WIP on the journals, when I finish those I'll probably decide between using those and the story from Revo's point of view.
I know the story isn't finished yet, but I guess I don't want to end it before it would really start...
Here is a bit of a summary of what would happen next:
Fin and Revo spend about a month or so at Midway before the Japanese forces attack. Revo is sent out during the battle to scout out pockets of Japanese soldiers that have landed on the island, Fin follows her a short way behind; far enough away that he won't risk anyone catching Revo if he is spotted by enemy soldiers. The battle of course, is going on all around them. Once Revo has accomplished finding a fair number of the Japanese men who have landed she and Fin return and report their findings. The information they supply helps the US troops to win the battle, putting Japan on the defensive for the rest of the war. Once the US has victory over Japan, Fin and Revo are sent to Europe and work there until the war is over. They are sent to live in Fin's home until they are needed again, but who knows when that will be yet? (more details would be included in the final story)
Oh and a few other things I thought of that aren't included here but will be included in future stories:
Military code name: Stealth9x - used when planning her missions over radio, on the off chance someone is listening in that shouldn't be.
Age: 3 years in this story; will vary slightly depending on story (particularly if I write about when she retires and goes home with Fin)
Home when not in military: she lives with Fin in his rural home near Charleston, South Carolina
Acquaintances (non-military): Fin's wife, Kari; Possibly another tracker at some point (if I'm lucky enough to get two)
That should be about it ^^
Throw those hooves right over my shoulders
Cause I seen the way you look at me, doefriend, when you smoulder
Come here, queer deer, and shake that thing around
Cause you get me so high that I gotta go down
Tracker Dog you want:
Tracker Dog #4 - 'Wild' Normal
Name you'll give it:
Fallout
Reason why you want it:
Never in my two years of being on ChickenSmoothie have I ever found a breed of adoptables as interesting as these trackers dogs. <3 I want it because I've been watching and waiting to get my hands on the perfect one; my very first adoptable. Specifically for this Tracker Dog, I want it because of the terrain it fits in, and its colouring. I have quite a few ideas of how to place it some writing of mine because of the desert element.
I'm really quite fond of the 'wild' normal Tracker Dog lines so I'm very excited something like this is in the batch~
Also, I suppose the reason I'd like it most is because it's motivation to finish and draw up more of my own character, so they may interact with this dog. In my endless amount of writing, of course. <3
Will it be used in any kind of story?
This is a definite yes. I already have plenty of ideas running around in my head, and a few characters of my own that would fit perfectly with this Tracker Dog. I'm thinking borders wars and skirmishes, unnatural weapther patterns due to unique weaponry, endless dunes and underground caverns. I want to write already.
Describe its personality:
Fallout has quite the serious disposition, and has a very protective attitude. While working, this Tracker Dog will rarely leave the side of his human partner, or master, and obeys a very strict set of commands. Of course, going after those lost in the desert will be the only cause for him to leave and while doing so Fallout has a tunnel-like mindset. There is almost nothing that will make this Tracker stray from a set path, unless he is dealing with multiple rescues in one go. His sense of justice is skewed, as he relies heavily on commands and works by a list of importance, saving those who seem to be in a more dire situation. More times than once Fallout has chosen to rescue someone against their word, because in that moment, they seemed to need it more. It has resulted in the death of another, but Fallout can't feel responsible when he saved the one he felt was more important.
Outside of work, Fallout finds it hard to relax. He lives in the desert and the common storms catch his attention so easily and, to him, there is always someone to be helped. Though, he has a soft spot for exploration and when off duty loves nothing more than racing across the wind swept deserts.
Write an introduction for your Tracker:
"A dog? A dog with no eyes?"
The other end of the line was silent, only a soft sigh was heard.
"And it's supposed to help me with my job? You do know that having above average eye sight is in the job requirements, right?"
Again there was nothing, for a while. Finally a small chuckle sounded from the other end of the telephone call.
"It can see, Nixon. Just trust me and come outside."
With an exaggerated moan, Nixon hung up the phone with his thumb, still holding the old black reciever in his hand. More than once this company of his has sent him equipment to help him do his job. Every time it only got in the way, but never once had they sent him a live animal. Much less one that had no eyes. Placing a hand over his face, the boy put the phone and and snaked his way through his maze of a living area. Piles and piles of boxes cut off every convinient pathway to his large window, but eventually he made it. He managed with a few stubbed toes, but he managed none the less. With slim fingers he peeled apart his blinds, peering outside to the man who stood in his doorway. With a wave and a smile that man acknowledged him; he'd expected one such snoop.
There wasn't much that could make the man go away, either he went outside now or dealt with him picking his way though the locks on his door when the sun was out. With a troubled frown, Nixon unglued himself from the window and slipped to the front door, preparing himself with a loud exhale for whatever beast jumped out of that van. Wasting no more time, the boy pulled open the door, walking in a lazy mannor towards his unwanted visitor. "Okay, where is it so I can hurry and send it away?" The man only laughed and uttered a small 'here'. On command the creature Nixon was waiting for leaped from the open back of the van, and stood tall beside the vehicle. The first, and only thought that entered Nixon's mind at that moment was that was not a dog.
"What the hell is that?" Nixon asked, wonder in his voice as he stared back at the bold looking thing. As he spoke, a long reptile looking tongue slid from the animals jaws, bright blue, matching another one of its...wonderful features.
"This is Fallout. Our newest member." Than man across from his moved his hand to hover over Fallout's body, showing him off. Nixon, now looking quite fascinated with the creature stepped closer, crouching down to its...er...nose level. It wasn't a far lean, Fallout was quite the tall dog. If that's what it really was. "Pretty, ain't he?" The man continued. And he's yours, too. Just watch he doesn't do a better job than ya." Nixon would have frowned, had he not been so distracted with the looks of the animal. He sure looked like he could cover a lot of distance with those legs and huge feet.
"So. You're Fallout, hm?" The Tracker lifted its tongue, tasting the air around the boy in front if him. With a cough Nixon stood straight again, folding his arms across hi chest. "He's neat, I guess."
"Neat? This thing's bred to do your job. It can stand the heat better than you, it can run faster than you. Heck, it can probably see better than you." The man laughed at himself, and at the boy's sudden put-out expression. "No worries though, it won't move without a command." Nixon nodded, looking thoughtful although he'd already made the decission to keep the dog. Before he could answer, though, Fallout flicked an ear and lifted a leg, peeing down the man's left leg. "I'll take him." Nixon answered quickly with a poorly hid smile. This was going to be a beautiful partnership.
Tracker Dog Application Series 2
Tracker Dog you want: 5
Name you'll give it: Canary (Pronounced Kahn-awry) Because he is like a canary bird they used to use for the same purpose in mining. The way it is pronounced is important, Kahn is a German surname, its a little thing for my friend who is German, and the 'awry' mean like, wrong or messed up, just like how the practice of sending a creature down to test radiation is really, really wrong.
Reason why you want it: Well, when I read his purpose I was instantly reminded of Red Dwarf when Dave signed them up to be Canaries back on Red Dwarf, and of coarse I have to have anything and everything even slightly Dwarfish. He has a beautiful design and I think for my last tracker it would be good to be a male. I also like how part of his job, digging out victims of tunnel collapses, is a lot like what Chanterelle does. And of coarse, as I am first and foremost a dramatist, there is no harm in adding a male figure into the story. Who knows, my darling Cota could fall in *sing-song voice* Loove.
Will it be used in any kind of story? Yerp! Same ones as Cota.
Describe its personality: Fun-loving, he can do his job and do it well but the second he is off the clock the only think on his mind is his friends. He enjoys tedious work, singing and being generally loud. Many call him immature, but he can, though he rarely does, be serious. He fall in love quick and tends to stay in love for a long time. He is usually carefree and doesn't like to dwell on things, or at least he says he doesn't, in his head he regrets all his mistakes and wishes every night he could turn back time and erase them. Part of him knows he likes where he is and he wouldn't be here if it weren't for his screw ups, but the other part of him is still wishing he could make it all go away.
Write an introduction for your Tracker:
"I'm sorry Cany, the wife says I've gotta find you a new home," the old man, Fredrick, sighed, he didn't want to leave his best friend. His mining buddy, they had worked together for so long, how could he give him up now? But Edna, his wife, is allergic, so what else could he do? "But," he smiled hopefully, "the lady who is taking you in is great! She will take care of you, and I heard she even has 2 other trackers! Wouldn't that be great? Friends for you to play with. And of coarse you will still have your job here, and you can come visit me whenever you want. I'm going to be at my house pretty much full time now. Tell me, Why did I agree to retire?" he forced a laugh. "Sound mighty boring to me. Common ol' chum, don't be sad. You'll love it at your new hou-" he paused, "home," he finished. Fredrick took one last look then walked away from the mirror.
-----------------------------------
"I'm sorry Cany," Fredrick sighed as he perfectly repeated his bathroom speech to his beloved tracker. All the time fighting the urge to break down and cry, and it looked as if Canary was too. Figuratively of coarse as technically he couldn't cry, but his body was slouched, his head hung low, tail, for once, still. Fred and Cany looked at each other, nothing left to say.
Neither even flinched when the doorbell rang. "Hello? It's Ananda," called the muffled voice after a few long moments with no responce.
"It's Open," bellowed Fredrick, still not looking up from Cany's eyeless stare.
Ananda carefully opened the door and peeked her head in, "Is this the right place? I am answering your add about the Tracker for adopt," she smiled, but it faded as she got a better view of Fredrick and Canary, she could tell it was killing him to do this. She felt the urge to do something, anything to comfort the poor old man.
"Come in lassie," he spoke with a thick English/Scottish accent. Fredrick suddenly leapt from his seat and went into another room hollering "I'll be back in a mo, just getting all his stuff!"
Ananda watched as Canary gently stepped from his seat on the couch and cautiously approached her. She knelt down the pet his soft head, reaching out a gentle hand she allowed him to sniff it. Cany did, and he carefully smiled at Ananda. She could tell he was still guarded, but he looked like a good dog, a welcome edition to her family.
"Here ya go," said Fredrick from behind a large pile of toys, food, treats, various knickknacks and a dog bed. "These'r all his favorite things. Ya got his bed, his food, one cup twice a day, treats, only when he deserves them, and anything else you might need," he looked over the pile carefully, then remembered, "AH!" he reached into his shirt pocket and grabbed a small folded piece of paper, "These are all the numbers you could ever need, my friend, Harriet, is a vet who specializes is Trackers, my number, a few people you can call if you need someone to watch 'im, and at the bottom is his allergies. He can't eat shellfish or have any penicillin,"
Tracker Dog Application Series 2
Tracker Dog you want: #7
Name you'll give it: Galaxy
Reason why you want it: Well, I know a song that would go very well to her personalty. I like the design and the colors(Favorite colors). My one character is a scientist and she needs a pet, as well as a guard. Many people try to break into her building, so Galaxy would be a good dog.
Will it be used in any kind of story? Maybe in some time, when I make one about Tana (My scientist character)
Describe its personality: She's dominant, but she loves her owner and will do anything for her owner and her Tana's friends.
Write an introduction for your Tracker:
I looked at Nex, wondering when I would be adopted. I felt myself be picked up and put into a cage. I sighed a low sigh and sat down. Yet again, My box partner was adopted. He was a aquatic tracker and we were friends. I was put into another box, one for only me. Many people came and looked at me, but none liked me. So I broke free and ran away. I was a pup back them so I didn't get far. A clerk at a pet shop saw me while he was on his way to the shop. "Aw, what a cute dog." I was all black and looked like a normal dog, because my markings didn't grow on my fur yet. My face was covered by my paws, so he couldn't see I didn't have any eyes.
.
.
.
.
I grew more and more each day. Soon I looked like a normal tracker dog with cool markings. I sat there, but no one ever took me. Sooner or later some one is going to adopt me... I thought as a woman came in. "Hello, Do you have any guard dogs?" She asked ad the clerk said, "We have some German Shepard, and other dogs like the-" He stopped as he saw the woman walked over to me. "Well hello there, sweetie." She said as the clerk came over and grabbed her arm. "Come on and see the pure breeds, Not that mangy mut." At the word mut, I growled at him. "Get you hands off of me" She snapped at him, them slapped his face. This girl looks like a good guard." Tana said as she looked into my heart. I growled and walked into the back of the cage. Tana unlocked the glass door and picked me up. I looked at her, but she put me back into the cage. She said this in my ear though, "I'll come back for you, Tomorrow." She patted my head and I slightly wagged mt tail.
.
.
.
.
When she came to get me the next day, I was happy to see her. I licked her face and wagged my tail. Her home was big and has the whole woods in the back. My tail thumped on the floor inside. I scratched my head and went to the door. I whimpered scratched the door. Tana laughed and let me out into the back. I ran over to the creek and followed it to the water pool. (AKA: Lake) I lapped at the water and fell asleep in the sun.
-
Later that day, Tana came and patted my head to wake me up. "Come on, Galaxy. Time to come in." My ears twitched and something approached. I growled and got up. "Grrr...". A wolf came out of the woods. "Whoa, Man. I mean no harm... I just came to say hello." "Well, stay away from my owner." The wolf walked away and mt ant Tana walked away.
