You and Blaze enter the forest. He quickly directs you towards the river, where you see a large waterfall. Blaze looses the sent he was on, but he obviously thought it was somewhere along the river. What do you do?

Uncertain of what to do I try a different tactic. I do my best to communicate to Tumbleweed that I want him to say hello to the other wolf while being mindful of that wolf's personal space.

Tumbleweed barks at the wolf, and the wolf responds. It still seems wary, but it sits down. Her muscles are tensed, as if still ready to bolt at any second. Tumbleweed looks at you happily. What do you do?

I smile hopefully and look back at Tumbleweed, attempting to ask him to talk to the wolf again in the same way as before, except this time telling the other wolf something nice and non threatening about himself.

I smirk at how blaze lost the scent, but then tell him that we can walk along the river

I smile hopefully and look back at Tumbleweed, attempting to ask him to talk to the wolf again in the same way as before, except this time telling the other wolf something nice and non threatening about himself.

Tumbleweed turns to the wolf. Instead of talking about himself, he talks of you. He does this because you seem to be the one the wolf is afraid of. "This is my owner. He/She is very nice and takes good care of me." He rubs up against you.

I smirk at how blaze lost the scent, but then tell him that we can walk along the river

Blaze walks after you, happy that you weren't dissapointed or mad at him for loosing the scent. He attempts a smirk of his own, but a silly smile doesn't look to normal on a wolf. Suddenly his ears prick and he puts his nose to the floor, catching the scent again.

I grin widely, petting Tumbleweed and praising him for doing so well. I ask him to speak to the wild wolf again, and ask if they're okay, and tell them I didn't mean to frighten them.

I give him an egcouraging pat.

I grin widely, petting Tumbleweed and praising him for doing so well. I ask him to speak to the wild wolf again, and ask if they're okay, and tell them I didn't mean to frighten them.

Tumbleweed thumps his tail against the floor as you pet him. He knocks you over playfully in a way that won't hurt you, and then makes his way into your lap. He barks at the other wolf, and it takes a step forward. It tries to sniff you, but is too far away. It refuses to move any closer.

I giggle at him.
I give him an egcouraging pat.

Blaze flicks his tail and follows the scent. He almost ignores your encouraging pat.He leads you straight to a beaver dam and begins barking up a storm. His mouth foams and he claws at the sticks holding up the dam.

I rip apart the sticks, seeing his gesture.
I then give him a tender scratch behind the ear, trying to get him to like me.

I laugh at Tumbleweed's playfulness, nuzzling him back. When I see the wolf's hesitant approach, I smile. I decide to take off the bandanna I had around my neck, slowly sticking my arm out and setting it down as far as I can reach before retracting my arm, hoping to give the wolf an opportunity to sniff me without having to come too close if they didn't want to.
