No, totally no mistake, since it's a chanced trait, not an inherited trait ^-^
There is always a chance that your Viscling gets any trait, even though there might not be any Viscet in his family with that trait
As the name says, it's a chanced trait, so there is a chance of a Viscet getting it (here in this post are some infos about that)
Maddox, the son of my girl Kali also has a chanced trait

exactly what ten said. c:
chanced traits are just a 1 in 25 roll chance for uncommon; and 1 in 7 roll chance for rare;
if a chanced trait is rolled then the artist who is doing the batch has the choice to pick whichever trait under the uncommon or rare category.
