Capri awoke with a jolt, her dreams had been unusually weird the last night. "More walking." She sighed, leaping to her paws and trotting deeper into the city. The tar of the road felt familiar to her, it reminded her of the many walks she would take with her humans. But that memory seemed to be so faded, it felt like it happened a whole year ago.
After a while of searching she caught onto an unusual scent, two unusual scents actually. She walked towards them and cam face to face with two dogs. Her outgoing behaviour was replaced by fear and aggression. "D-don't hurt me!" She shrieked, skidding backwards.

Reyna took a deep breath, then continued. "My mother was a free dog. She had no humans. So I was born into the forest. I lived with my mom, dad, and little brother and sister. One day we were out hunting, and I heard a scream. It was my sister. I ran to help her, only to find her captured by wolves. I was prepared to fight to get her back, so I did. We rolled around until the lead wolf, Chase..." she gulped. She hated saying his name, but she went on. "He overpowered me. He was about to kill me when my mother and father jumped in. They killed my father quickly, right before my very eyes. Right before they killed my mother, she told me to run. They killed her and...I ran for my life. The wolves came after me, but I escaped." Reyna held back tears. "I don't think they ever found my brother. We got split up when running away. And my sister..." A tear streamed down Reyna's face. "I never saw her again. I was too afraid to go back for her. I made it to the city and a couple of humans found me and took me in." Reyna stared at her paws, letting the tears fall. She'd been holding them in for years, but couldn't any longer.

Pan
Pan nuzzled Reyna with affection. "I'm sorry about your loss. It must be hard..."

Reyna looked away. "I learned to live with it. I just wish I knew if my siblings are okay...or even still alive..."

Titan interrupted the moment by crashing through the woods and landing on Pan. "PAN! I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN I HAD TO TRAVEL EVERYWHERE AND I FOUND A REALLY GOOD HUNTING SPOT TOO WANNA GO SEE?" he barked loudly.

Pan was caught off guard and fell under the dog's weight with a yelp. "Titan! Off!" she barked with authority. She rarely barked unless she was startled or ticked.

Marble turned around and tilted her head "who said I was going to hurt you?" She asked

The ferret chewed quickly on the golden leaves before spitting them onto her small paws. Gently, like the others, she rubbed them over the scratches trying to part the fur so it wouldn't get stuck in it. Shoshone took some cobweb and layered it upon the wound and pressed down firmly but not hard enough to make him yelp. "How does that feel?" She asked.

Ferox gave a low warning growl before looking this dog over. Not a threat. He thought. He let his fur lie flat against his back and straightened up. "Apologies." He said.

Shoshone grimaced as well. "Yes that means the herbs are working. They'll feel better tomorrow I promise." She gave him a warm smile before releasing a yawn. The ferret hadn't noticed how much sleep she lacked until she had actually slowed down. She scratched at her ear with her hindleg before slumping to the ground feeling exhausted, though she couldn't bring her eyes shut.
