We can't do personal breedings with Beatnik being too busy to check them over to make sure that the kids don't look more like customs than what they are supposed to be - kids of certain parras. Until we have a system in place that beat approves of to where we can have personal breedings checked either within the staff or someone else beat allows to do so - customs too for that matter - we simply can't take personal breedings.
As for your other note it's mostly because we're all online at the same time - and a lot of the times we're streaming when opening slots. It has nothing to do with bias or anything else. Not to mention Gee and myself are both in similar time zones and are on usually during the same times. We open slots when we have the time to do them and like you said we're not machines. Gee has school and I have a job outside of cs. We can try and diversify the times we open slots but right now there isn't much we can do - there's only two of us and there's only so much time in a day.
If you have any further questions gee and myself are both happy to explain.

So you mean you won't take personal breedings, without taking up normal slots, involving your own parras because you have to wait too long for approval? Basically it's a loophole so you don't have to get approval from Beatnik and don't have to wait for that approval.
Streaming? So your personal streams with your close friends watching so they get the slots? It's still telling select people when you open them. Which isn't fair to others who are not in your streams.

Taking other artists' breedings is not a new thing. Mon, Zach, Sammich, you, and I had all taken tickets from other staff members back when you were staff. We aren't avoiding doing personal breedings because it takes too long-- Beatnik closed parras because they were too overwhelmed with real life to deal with them. It's easier for us to post tickets for another artist than to stress Beat out by giving them more work.
Not just in personal streams, no. We have opened slots in public streams as well. This is not bias, anyone who is online at the time of us opening slots still has an equal chance of catching them. I have seen this happen in species other than parras and it doesn't cause any problems there.

No it's an old thing. It's why we started trying to implement the personal breedings. Because we realized we knew when most openings would happen, back when we did group ones. So it was a way to give others, who aren't staff, an equal opportunity to catch them. As for the public streams, it's still a stream where few people are watching you open slots. If someone isn't comfortable going into streams or simply can't open streams, they will never get a slot this way.
It doesn't matter if it's happening in other species, it's not another species. This is parras. It may not look like it's not causing problems because either the community for other species are not large enough or possibly don't care. I care about fairness in a species I like and used to be part of staff for.
If you would like a show of hands of others in the Parrapup community who feel there is bias, I'm sure plenty would raise them if you asked on this thread or the fanclub.

The concept of personal breedings was not invented while you were staff. We did personal breedings when we wanted to breed our own parras, and we had other artists do them when we wanted to see another person's take on the pairing.
If we took more time to do personal breedings rather than opening slots and allowing each other to post tickets, not only would we constantly get more breedings/parras, but we would have less time to open slots. Even if we're streaming (which is not every single time we open slots) anyone has the ability to post a ticket. It's not like we're turning away tickets just because we don't want to do them.
Vertigo Goat is right, please take this to PM with either me or Sasariously if you would like to discuss this further, as this is spamming the nursery thread unnecessarily.
