I decided my old fursona didn't represent me anymore, so I'm starting off the new year with a new 'sona.



Name
Nyx (pronounced 'niks')
Origin of Name
The name 'Nyx' was driven from Greek mythology, after Nyx, the Goddess of night and darkness.

Personality
Nyx has an extremely well developed mind and an even more well-developed smart mouth, which often gets her into trouble. She is rather self-gathered and reserved, and can appear cold at times. She tends to be sarcastic, and a huge know-it-all. She can't resist making a smart-remark when the opportunity presents itself, and tries to talk her way out of situations.
To those she does know well, she can be quite funny and pleasant to have in small groups. Though Nyx doesn't usually talk much, but once you get her going, you can't stop her. She has very low self-esteem when it comes to physical activities. She tends to put an indifferent facade over her easily hurt emotions.
Favorite and Least Favorite Foods
Nyx goes insane over sugary and Oriental food. She also enjoys eating breakfast foods like pancakes, fried eggs, bacon, and sausage. She isn't too picky about what she eats.
Nyx dislikes tuna, chili, salmon, olives, and most cheeses -dies-.
Hobbies and Pastimes
Like me, Nyx enjoys free-writing, reading, napping, role-playing, being a dork (:B) role-playing online and off, eating, and being a dork (:B). She also collects marbles (:B). She has fourteen very large jars of them, and estimates that there are about 1,027, as each jar contains 73-75 marbles (:B).
Favorite Books, Movies, and Games
Some of Nyx's favorite books include: Maximum Ride, the Hunger Games series, Harry Potter, the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Wolves of the Beyond, and Witch & Wizard.
Favorite shows and movies include: Harry Potter movies (not as good as books), Pirates of the Caribbean, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Avatar, Avatar the Last Airbender, Naruto/Naruto Shippuden, the Simpsons, among other things that I'm to lazy to mention.
Favorite games: Sorry, Uno, Quiddler, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Chicken Smoothie, and Dungeons & Dragons.
Analysis
Species: I can see myself as a domestic cat; not very strong, but flexible, more easygoing, and even my tendency to bond to only a few people.
Main Body Color: I can be rather self-gathered and reserved, usually appearing indifferent and detached around people I am not used to having around.
'X' on Right Shoulder: I tend to correct people, even if I am prone to make the same mistake myself.
Three Dots on Right Side of Back: This represents my more random tendencies, and how I am capable of sitting around for hours on end, thinking about anything that happens to cross my mind.
Sketchy Heart at Base of Tail (Left Side): This represents my rather undeveloped feminine side.
Splatter on Shoulder (Left Side): This represents the fact that I am an EPIC FAIL (:B)
Tail Markings: The ones on the ref above are slightly off ;3. Her tail is silvery, growing white towards the tip, which is very pale gray, almost white. It has black tiger-y stripes and cheetah spots. This represents that I've always felt I've had a bit of a split personality.
White Lower Muzzle/Underbelly: I am very clumsy, and can't go five hours without spilling something.
White Ear Band Sandwiched Between the Two Black Ones: I tend to keep my opinions and thoughts to myself.

Dislikes
She cannot stand anything sour, spicy, bland or dry. She will only ever settle for sweet foods. She is oblivious to the following commands:

Halt.
Wait.
Stand Still.
Personality
As mentioned before, Dai is a complete and total spazz and sugar addict. She refuses to stand still, and instead prefers to bounce around, shouting random sentences at the top of her lungs. She doesn't understand why nobody wants to be around her for more than they have too, and frankly, she doesn't care. She's rather bounce around, shouting random sentences at the top of her lungs. She is always very sticky, partially due to the fact that she is a chubbyful blob of fat and sugar.
Hobbies and Pastimes
Daiquiri's hobbies include bouncing around, shouting random sentences at the top of her lungs, repeating the last syllable of every word, and eating sugar.
