Oekaki/Java problems & solutions

heya everyone!

this might sound like a silly question, but how do you duplicate layers? so that you can have the same drawn image multiple times on the one layer (once you merge them).
the best example I can think of is Tealea's dog adopts editable.
I tried looking it up in the search engine but didn't find what I was looking for.

Go to the top where it says layers "Layers"

Then click "Duplicate"

From CS Wiki:



"This creates an identical copy of the layer you are currently on, and pastes the copy on a new layer above the current one. This will also add the word 'Copy' to the layer name of your duplicate."

My Oekaki isn't working for three months now, where i had tried everything possible.
Now i cleared up my PC extremely and reinstalled it, but i still get an error.
It`s saying, that Java dose not match the safety settings, That was right at the beginning and i couldn't snapshot it that quickly to show as a screen shot.
My Browser (Mozilla Firefox) is also still showing, that Java is a danger but it`s open to use.
I tried to change the Browser safety but it doesn't work (or i`m just not clever enough), i tried to change my Firewall setting, but that work neither.

[center]I`m pretty much frustrated now and i have really tried everything i found on the frontpage, having no idea what i can do more.
So... PLEASE help me.

EDIT:: I forgot to say, that i have all actual versions and if i start a drawing, my Browser is freezing completely, i can't do anything beside "hiding" it.
Here is what will happen, if i try to start one (sry, that this is in German....)

To say that in words, I click on "new drawing" as normal and can select between large or stander size. But as soon as i lick that and the gray shield is popping up, the Browser is freezing completely.
After about 10 – 20 sec an other sine appears what is asking, if I want to keep the plugin running. If I click on “continue”, it will keep being frozen. If I click on “stop Plugin” it will turn to an Error (see last Pic). This error even appears if I wait some time and don't click anything.
I also can't exit the pop-up Windows.

Try this!, I had the same problem and someone pointed out to me I might be using ChibiPaint V.1

I have even chacked that and it still don`t work, but thank you ^^

I've been having this problem since Christmas.

I'm trying to get my pen pressure to work with the Oekaki, and I can't seem to do it. I've made sure my drivers are up to date, and I have JTablet installed and everything, I even tried doing it in different browsers. I have a Huion Tablet, I doubt thta makes a difference though.

When I go to test the plugin, I get the following error: (Plugin v.: couldn't load) Jtablet Error: Could not initialize tablet.

I've been trying to fix this issue, and I haven't been able to find a solution. Does anybody know what I can do?

My java isn't saving, simply just ignoring everytime I press the save button. Nothing pops up. I don't understand, is this the same situation as the one on the front page?

If you tried to save again, or used a cable to connect to the internet, then try restarting your router and see if that works.

When I go onto the oekaki it just has a blank box. No sign saying java needs updating or whatever, just an empty space where ChibiPaint is supposed to show up...? I'm on Mozilla Firefox

What colour is the screen? Is it white or grey when it pops up?
