@griff: you're like changing my perspective of viscets completely! thank you so much for helping us all out with the anatomy. i think we're so used to every closed species being like a canine or feline or jbd, so once we get a unique one it's hard to adapt.

so many beautiful viscets lately. i've been meaning to try out, but i'm so devoted to #492.

also! finally made some art with layers that make sense, so perhaps i'll do an editable or a ych? not great and with griff's awesome tutorials the anatomy isn't exactly right but art is art!

i feel like heterochromia should be uncommon, since i feel like i see it more frequently than a lot of the uncommon traits, but everything else is p much fine c:

Totally the feather tufts. My favorite OC has them and I love all the feathers!

Lion mane just seems too... Subtle? I think it just needs to be made bigger to be a trait at all. Sorry! |D

It's actually really good! Better than my animations XD But try making the body less stiff and robotic like...
even of its just a WIP you still want it to look smooth right? Just use as many layers bla bla and re-watch

I do have a question, though.
On unlimited impress me's. I always feel like I have to stop myself from adding too much to it, not wanting to go overboard or make them have to read a book. I've noticed some absolutely fantastic forms recently that have been super long, though.

What do you guys usually do, and what do you suggest? Any tips are appreciated! I just don't like adding way too much, but it was mentioned before in a contest I won a RU for that I didn't really go as deep into things as they would have liked (Or something to that extent).

By all means, if there are no limitations mentioned, go all out. Write a book. Develop your character. Impress the judge. "Impress Me," means go all out. Give it your all, and knock 'em dead, darling!

That's really nice! It's almost realistic. I don't think the ears quite match the anatomy, though. Nice work on the details!

It's probably going to be the unicorn horn when it comes out (EEEEEEEEEPP!!!!!), but for right now I have to say tail drapes. I love fur that flows.

I think Soul made the right decision with all of the traits. They're exactly where they need to be. I would like to see more tail drapes, though. And hooves. And unicorn horns. Heh.

None of my viscets have uncommon traits. But I am in love with Mr. Minter's entire design. I don't think I could love a viscet more than I could love my first baby!

That's a hard one cx I totally adore slit eyes, but mane edits are also pretty cool. Also horns and feathered tufts.

Thanks for the advice. ^^ Though this is the first pass, aka the proportion pass to make sure all the proportions are even XD After that comes the slight movements of hair, tail, feet and body that make it look alive, and then the actual lines. Though I think I'll be working on it awhile XD

@Razors - I know it is really hard not to go over board with the Viscet, but an impress me competition is all about showing off how well you see the Viscet! Really go in deep and design the character in a way that really shows off your skills!
