How do I actully adopt a Kitsucorn?

Thank you! I appreciate the public asks since like you said, others may have the same question! Kinda like asking questions in class, you could be helpin' out a lot of folks!

Anyhow I have the general idea for breeding down for lore purposes but tbh it's not really a high priority for me! I'd like to have a fair number of regular adopts out before I even consider a nursery. It's a possibility, just not happening anytime soon!

As for events, I would like to do some from time to time! Possibly season-related since that gives me a bigger window in which to prepare for them. I'm pretty slow-paced so something like an event for Valentine's Day which is coming up real quick won't be a thing at least for this year, but stuff like Easter-time or Spring Equinox stuff may happen.

Will there be staff? I'd LOVE to help! ❤

Oh wow! Thank you so much for the support, qwertyo! <3 I've been working on these guys slowly for a bit now. (Art/creative stuff has just been slow with me for a while!) Your Pallios and adopts like Dollhouse have been a big influence for the unique lines, in addition to how... messy the oekaki levels for for different features real fast lol. I really like being able to make each one more expressive! It also gives me an excuse to experiment with different styles and stuff if I choose.

And thanks for the questions! Some of them, like diet, I'd been thinking about already but some I hadn't really thought about yet. One of my big challenges with preparing these guys is actually organizing ideas and getting stuff down, haha. I'm more about drawing stuff. I'll answer some here but others I'll include in the species information post as I'm still straightening stuff out.

Kitsucorn diets include, on the more feral side, a lot of vegetation, fruits, berries, roots, bugs, and small critters. Item manipulation is definitely a thing with at least some kitsu's magic so more advanced food preparation or even cooking is not out of the question!

For competitions, at least to start, I'll probably be leaning toward simpler stuff such as raffles, or maybe small character ideas! I may do some more intensive art/writing comps later. I dig contests for songs and gifs, but I really value image crediting and gif contests tend to encourage like... Google image searching. (Something I've been guilty of as well!) I may shy away from those. I really like contests that are either random chance or based on something the entrant worked on themselves!

Re: Other sentient species I've been kind of vaguely defining the world kitsucorns live in so that they can fit easily into many settings from real-worldish to high fantasy otherlands. Is... is that too much of a cop-out? I don't have other sentient species in mind so it could range from humans to anthro/talking animals or maybe even other adopt species? This is subject to change in the future!

Aaa I apologize for the light font on the info post, I had it lightened (or transparent at one point) since it's very draft-y and like... it's there... but not finished. I'll go ahead and make it more readable while I work on it!

OH I KNOW THAT FEEL. I really wish there was kind of a gallery-watch feature for CS oekaki! But in the end it's a forum so it doesn't make much sense... So manual gallery stalkage it is!
