That’s being sorted out well, but now my best friend is having some serious issues of her own; she has depression and anxiety issues and now she has to deal with alcoholism in her family because no one else will address and I know it’s too much for her but I don’t know what to do.
are there any adults you can talk to about the problems your friends are experiencing? i'm not sure if theater is a part of your school or an extra-cirricular activity, but if it's at school try to contact a guidance counselor or school psychologist on the matter. if it's outside of school, maybe you could talk to whoever's in charge, perhaps the director?
or, if you want to try and help them on your own, try and get their numbers [if you don't already have them] and text/call them all separately if they want to talk about it and if they want to vent. remember to tell them that you're there for them, and stick to your promise. listen to them and try to relate to how they're feeling. or, if you want to speak to them face-to-face about their depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, etc. try to find them when theater practice is over and confront them.

The first two people are currently talking with the school counselors and therapists outside of school, but I'm just tired of this always happening. As for my best friend, she's trying to get her family through it, and I talk to her about it, but I always feel so awkward when I try to comfort her. I never really know what to say or do; I've never been one that's good at being sappy and saying the right thing.

I'm just feeling kind of bummed.
Ignored and bummed.

A while ago I tried to raise funds for an emergency but never got a dime. Now things are getting worse. I truly feel alone in this.
Like my friends say they got nothing but then they admit to buying high priced video games.
