Welcome to Constellation Cats. Here, you can adopt your very own
Constellation Cat or two (or three, or four). Constellation Cats are mysterious but loyal
creatures who love to be shown attention. Not much is known about them, and new
subspecies are being discovered every day. They are also social, and like to be around
other Constellation Cats and humans. These cats are plentiful, and there are a lot that
need to be adopted out to new homes. All Constellation Cats have different colours and
markings on their pelts - no two are the same - but no-one knows why.

✦ Constellation Cats Litter Rules ✦
These rules apply to Constellation Cats
litters and adopting, both FCFS and raffle.

1. Only one Constellation Cat per litter,
unless stated on the litter post.
2. You must fill out the whole form when
adopting. This includes the codeword.
Some litters have individual codewords
for each Constellation Cat, but some
have a codeword for the whole litter.
3. Don't complain if you don't get the
Constellation Cat you wanted.

✦ Constellation Cats General Rules ✦
These rules apply to all Constellation Cats
threads, unless stated on the front page of
the thread in question.

1. Follow Tess' rules at all times.
2. No art theft. You may only use
my lines if I have given you
permission via PM, or if you are
entering a competition and I have
stated that the lines are free to use.
If that is the case, your permission to
use the lines are for that purpose only.
Don't steal other people's
Constellation Cats.
3. Please don't spam the thread. I
classify spam as off-topic posts, one
word posts and bumping.
I allow marking, though.
4. If staff applications aren't open, please
don't ask to be staff. If there is a staff
competition going on, it will go up on
both the Constellation Cats news and staff post.
5. Trading Constellation Cats, Stardust and items
is allowed. If this is to happen, it must be worked
out first on the fanclub and then taken to PM if the
trade needs to be discussed further. After all the
details are worked out, both users involved in the
trade must PM me about it.
6. If you post your Constellation Cat anywhere
aside from the threads, please link it to
this thread. In litter codedrops, the linked codes
are given.

✦ Constellation Cats Staff Rules ✦
These rules apply to all members of
Constellation Cats staff.

1. Artists must make two or more litters per
month. They also can use any lineart,
and create their own new ones. Artists
may also reserve one Constellation Cat
from one of their litters every two months.
2. Mods must be friendly, polite and always
willing to help out others and myself. They
should also answer any questions adopters
may have about the threads, and be okay
with people PMing them about Constellation
Cats. They must have a good understanding
of the Constellation Cats rules. Mods also must
be okay with communicating with me via PM
about Constellation Cats often.
3. If any member of staff is going to be absent
for a while, they must PM me to tell me that they
will be unable to fulfil their staff duties for however
long they are leaving for.

✦ Strikes + Bans ✦
If you break a rule, you can get one strike
depending on the severity of the rule. (e.g if you
post a one-word post, you'll just be PMed and won't
obtain a strike, but if you keep doing it, you will).
If you claim the Constellation Cats lines as your
own, you will obtain an instant ban.

This post lists all the sub-species of Constellation Cats discovered by us so far. It seems that all Constellation Cats have tails that wrap around their bodies.

Very Common

Normal Constellation Cats are the most common and plentiful species of Constellation Cats. They have ears resembling other species of cats, a long tail that is silky and smooth and four paws.

Common

Brush-Tailed Constellation Cats have tails that end in a brush-like shape. These brushes can be used to sweep like a broom, and they could probably be used to paint. We don't know, because every time we tried they refused.

Uncommon

Rabbit-Eared Constellation Cats share the same features with the Normal Constellation Cat, except for one - these cats have rabbit ears.

All Constellation Cats that have not been adopted three days after their litter was released go to the Pound. Pound adoptions work just like normal adoptions, with a couple of exceptions: the pound must be open and you must fit the set of requirements listed by the Constellation Cat you want to adopt.

Stardust is the currency in the Constellation Cats community, and the currency the adoption centre uses, too. You can purchase Stardust with CS pets and items, win it from events or trade for it with other adopters. Mods get 15 Stardust every week, and artists get 30 Stardust every litter they make. Stardust then can be used to purchase things from the Store. Everything comes in every colour unless specified.

I also accept items and C$, Items will be valued at the price of the pets equivalent to their value.

Do you have two Constellation Cats which, combined together, would have amazing designs? Do you have the same situation, but with one of your Constellation Cats and one of another person's? Would you just like to have some more Constellation Cats? Breeding Constellation Cats costs 100 , and you can only breed once each time Breeding opens. Each litter normally has 2 or 3 offsprings, but as few as 1 or as high as 5 are possible. A Constellation Cat cannot breed more than once a month. Breedings automatically close when each of the three slots are filled in an opening of Breeding. You can breed two of your own Constellation Cats or one of yours and one of another adopter's - but breeding with two people must be worked out in the Fanclub. Both players must post the "Breeding with Two Adopters" form. If you breed with two Constellation Cats owned by different adopters, the litter will always be an even number. (2, 4 or very, very rarely 6). Payment can be split between the two adopters, or one can pay the whole fee. That is the payment type.

Have you ever wanted to own a Constellation Cat with a design you choose? With Customs, you can. Each Constellation Cat Custom costs 150 , and you can only order one when Customs are open. Customs automatically close when each of the three slots are filled in an opening of Customs. These don't open very often, so if you catch Customs open, consider yourself lucky! When Customs open, it will most likely be announced at the Fanclub, but would have been announced in the previous 24 hours. If you want to order, you have to fill out the form.
