Birthday kelpies will be resumed ^^ A spreadsheet just needs to be made so Zax can edit/keep track as they need to. As for the birthdays that passed during the species down time, I am not sure, though I think it would be safe to assume that they'll have to wait until the next passing of their birthday.

They will resume, I'm just a not sure when or where. As it's January we may just start from the beginning of the year and work our way down again; just make different dogs for those who already have them so they don't get the same thing every year.

The list currently up seems correct from the last I saw, with the user names with asterisks as ones that haven't received theirs for the past year. I went through the dogs and it seem the last birthday bk posted was for Midnight Tails, whose birthday was at the end of September. The birthday bk posted before theirs was for marzipan-love, and as the sheet says, it seems slit. was skipped.

Regardless of how it ends up, I'm excited to see where this species goes! I think it would be fair to finish off the birthday bks from last year since there aren't too many, but I also understand wanting to start over with the new year. For those who had birthdays that passed these last 4 months and didn't receive the birthday bk they were expecting, it does feel a bit disappointing (as mine just passed last week), but I also understand its Zax's call, so whatever the decision, there's always 2016's birthday bks. <3

Also about adding yourself, I believe I told Zax or another staff member that I have had trouble with that in the past. I added myself once and it didn't show up for some reason (I probably did something wrong owo) and then I contacted one of the previous owners and my question was never answered. I tired again and I got it but then it was gone when I tried to find it. Idk why it doesn't like me but it just doesn't.

What do you do?:
Go here to add yourself to the new Birthday list. Water Witch did an awesome job of moving over the names of the old list to the new list, so if you have already put your info on the last list, you dont have to put it down again if you didn't receive a pup. If you did receive a pup, you can go on there and put your name down with an edit to the coat color you want on your dog so you don't receive the same thing every year. (Ex. December Zax 14th EDIT: Dominant black Piebald)

What's been done?:
I made a few birthday dogs from the point where I took ownership of BK's. That was November 28th. Late December people, I'll get to you. I've been working on tikki tak's breedings and the winter event as well as my own commissions c:

What will we do about last year?:
I'm gonna get those birthdays done a little at a time. All that's left are the late December ones. If you were somehow skipped from a month prior to December, PM me.

What about future birthdays?:
January will be slightly chaotic trying to cook up all these pups to catch up. I should have them all finished by the end of the month though. All I ask, is that you be patient with me :3 My job is starting back up, so I'll be slowly working through 1-2 pups every other day or so. It's just a process of cleaning up the mess that I was left with. Bear with me c:
