Name of Serenche: Broken Thunder
Why That Name? His shoulder and eye markings look like broken or shattered glass to me.And the blue lightning on him makes me think of thunder and rain.So therefore, Broken Thunder.

Personality:
He's keeps to himself and can sometimes have a very short temper.Whenever he is mad though, he tends to hunt to let out his anger.He is very brave and nothing can scare him, he loves when it rains and watches the lightning stike down.He is rather strong for his age but dosen't use it against other Serenches and isn't cocky.He is humble but his only flaw is his anger which can sometimes be easily riled.He dosen't have many friends but sometimes makes some if he finds any Serenche that can get along with him.He hates it when anyone asks about his tail just because it's short.He likes his short tail, it's special.He regrets killing his father but goes on in life.As for mates, he dosen't really care much to get one.He has anger issues, do you really think he needs a mate?

History:
When he was young, he hated the thunder and lightning.Which was ironic since he has a lightning bolt on his thigh.He loved to hunt little prey and his father was always proud of him whenever he captured something.He was different than the other Serenches because of his short tail but he rather liked it.But whenever he was teased about it, it angered him.He would attack the others brutally, unable to control his rage.His parents were disappointed in him because of that, they feared he could kill another Serenche and the blood would be on his paws.But he wouldn't change, his temper was faring badly.His father tried to help him, by telling him to go hunting whenever he would get angry.He listened and soon they had enough kill to last for weeks.But one particular night, he became angry.He heard his parents talking, talking about abandoning him.They couldn't hold him back, he was bound to kill someone and hunting couldn't fix his anger.He was furious about this and controlled by his rage, he killed his father.His father let himself die, he couldn't bring himself to fight his own son.His mother fled in fear and he never saw her again.By the next morning, he realized his mistake.But there was nothing he could do to change it...

This is his history also but it's more from his point of view.It's really just about him growing up, I have time skips in this, like from young to teens to young adult etc...

I shook at the roar of the thunder.I looked outside as I watched the rain fall heavily, the cloud moving about, flashes of lightning striking the ground.I clung to my mother mother and I buried my face into her fur."It's just thunder son, nothing to be afraid of." My father chuckled and watched me hide my face.I soon heard more thunder and I fell back, I scrambled to get up before running off into the forest.I heard my parents following after me, their voices echoeing through the forest.Lightning struck a tree, splitting it in half.I climbed over the branches and kept running, towards the cave.I would be safe from the rain there.I rushed inside as soon as I saw the opening.I waited a few minutes from inside, my mom and dad coming into view.My mother had a soft glare on her face, "Don't run off like that, the lightning could hit you at any time and we wouldn't be there to save you." She laid down on the side of the cave, drifting off to sleep.My father didn't say a word, he only sat down and watched the rain.He looked proud and regal, like a king.I stood up and puffed my chest, acting big and strong.But when the thunder boomed I fell down, like a coward.My father laughed and I was ashamed.I layed down and hid my face with my paws.But as I grew up I became friends with the rain strangely...

I smirked to myself as I leaned back, in perfect position to attack.The (deer?) grazed contently, it's back to me.But it heard something and bolted.I followed after it, two Serenches were right behind me.They were probably the ones who startled it.I launched myself forward and snapped at it's shoulder.It moved back and tried to escape.I kept my jaw shut with a tight grip.I pushed it to the ground and snapped at it's throat quickly.The other 2 Serenches caught up to me, breathing heavily.They were young, only slightly younger than me.I didn't speak to them and I started to eat my kill.It was my very first kill actually, I was tired of practicing with my father, going after him to build up my speed.It had helped a little.The meat was very juicy and sweet, but I wasn't able to finish it up.I licked my lips of the crimson red blood that had splattered onto my white chest and black muzzle."You guys can have the rest..." I walked away from the two, leaving only leftovers for them.My father greeted me when he saw me come back.But then he stopped and sniffed my pelt.It reeked of blood from the kill."Your first kill huh?Not bad!" He smiled proudly and held his head high. (For this I wasn't sure what they eat so it's just a wild guess!)

I stood directly under the darkest cloud, looking up at the sky.It was going to rain again but this time I wouldn't be a coward.The thunder rumbled and lightning flashed.I stood firm in my place, I wasn't going to run.The clouds opened and the rain poured out.I felt the rain hit me, it felt nice and it relaxed me.I closed my eyes and listened to the thunder.I practiced snarling, trying to mimic the sound of the thunder.It was weak at first until I took a deep breath in and snarled as loud as I could, it blended in with the sounds of the thunder and I smiled to myself.I wasn't afraid anymore, it empowered me and I felt strong.I trotted and danced around in the rain, laughing and sticking my tongue out to lap up the water droplets.I heard lightning crash into the earth and I fell, a small crack in the earth was near me.I jumped up and stepped back, it was a little too close.Near enough to kill me, but it didn't.That put me in my place, I was starting to get cocky, thinking I could play in the rain without getting hurt.I had never heard of a Serenche getting hit by lightning before but I was sure it was possible.I only heard rumors that one who did, died in an instant.I wasn't sure if it was true or not but I wasn't going to test it.

"What's with the tiny tail?" One snickered and nipped at it."Yeah, why don't you have a long flowing tail like the rest of us?"The second one laughed loudly.I growled low and kept the spikes on my shoulders turned towards them."Hmph, I was born like this and I rather like my tail." I retorted at them, showing my teeth slightly.They had angered me, something which they would regret.I snarled fiercely and took down the first one.My claws digging into his fur, a cruel smile on my face.The second one tried to defend him but I pushed my shoulder against him, the spikes piercing into his skin.I had him against a tree, pushing the spikes in more and more as he yelled to the first one."H-Help me!I'm sorry just let me go!" He pleaded to me.The first one retreated, leaving his friend to me."Let go of him!" I was yanked away and the male scampered away.I looked up to see my father and I scowled.I got up and paced around, the fire in me slowly dying down."Why are you hurting the other Serenches!?" My father frowned in disappointment at me."They kept taunting me about my tail!" I shot back, panting slightly from the fight."So you're gonna let them get to you like that!?I raised you better than that!" I could detect a slight growl when he said that.I shook my head and walked past him, I ended the conversation there.

I jogged towards the cave, my pelt nearly invisible in the darkness.It was raining down on me but this time I wasn't afraid, I was rather at ease.I smiled as I heard the thunder boom but I wasn't afraid anymore.But everything would take a turn for the worse.I flicked my ears and stopped, hearing my parents talking."We have to let him go, he's too dangerous to keep around!" I could recognize my father's voice. "But he's our son, Our Only Son!We can't just leave him!" My mother was defending me and I smiled a little. "Look at what's happened, he's nearly attacked 4 Serenches in the past week! Even if I tell him to hunt, it won't hold him back forever!" My father spoke with a cold voice, it hurt me on the inside.I thought he cared for me and loved me.But it was a lie.I knew that I couldn't control my temper well but I thought at least my mother and father would be there to help me.But I guess not anymore.I didn't hear anything else for a few minutes, I only listened to the rain that pattered on the ground.But fury built inside inside me, I couldn't hold myself back.I entered inside the cave and I attacked my father first.I heard my mother scream and run outside but I didn't go after her.Everything else is a blur.I woke up the next morning, blood covered the ground and my father's body lay there.Cold and dead.I felt a pain hit me and I realized that it was a mistake, I shouldn't have killed him.But I couldn't change the past at all, everything was already done.Believe it or not but he was the very first Serenche I ever killed.I sighed and looked at my paws, covered in the blood of my father...

The morning sunlight shined into the den as I stared at the blood on my paws and pelt.I stood up slowly, and took a deep breath.Blood was all I could smell.I looked back at my father's body, he looked like he had been ravaged by a wild animal.But that animal was...Me.I walked outside, I glanced around.Nobody was here.I held my head high and let out a roaring snarl that echoed in the air.Everything had changed that day, I had no family now, my father dead with my mother nowhere to be found.I darted into the forest, rage empowering me to run furiously.I scared off any animal near me, only with a small growl they fled.I slowed down to a stop, I was at a lake.I looked down my reflection in the clear blue water, blood covered me.A blue lightning bolt on my thigh and shattered glass on my shoulder and eyes.A dark red feather and a dark red nose.That matched the blood on my paws and the spikes on my shoulder.My Name?Broken Thunder...

I'll probably add more to the story if I do win him, Maybe he may find his Mom again or suddenly have a pup he has to care for and it's hard with all his rage issues...Not a bad idea, Hmm...XD
