Arius and August found some puppies in cages... Well, Arius was lead to the pups by the pale shadow pup's father, who passed away shortly after learning what his puppies were going to be used for. The red pup was also with the shadow pups, so just for giggles, August- Arius's friend, who although is immature, is also incredibly good at impersonating others as well as getting away with elaborate lies- broke the pup free. The third pup is just a mash of both Arius and August's designs, because I was curious what their puppies might look like.
When it comes to good guy, bad guy things, August and his siblings are on team bad guy,where as Arius and her siblings are sorta on team good guy, though are kinda neutral. Both August's family and Arius's family are kinda neutral now that I think about it. Despite being on separate teams, these two are best friends. Arius is the brains of the two and August is... well the goofball. He's a puppy at heart, and as much as he's going to hate it, he's going to need to leave the pups with Arius. So that they can grow up semi-normally with a family that loves them, like August and his siblings lived with their father before joining team bad guy. August's been playing with them for awhile and already loves them. There are more puppies, that Arius wanted to break out but those puppies were assigned to August, so she knew they were well taken care of and in good paws. For the time being at least. The pups outside of August's care, August knows to be either in protective care or in the type of care that is categorized as ordinary special agents (Special agents, but not the super special agents like Misty and the shadow pups).

The shadow pups are called the shadow pups because their dark markings have the ability to lift off their body up to the point where the marks almost leave their fur, and do whatever the pups want them too.
The sitting pup's dark marks that come from is eyes never lays fully flat, it always seems to lift off their fur by it's back legs. This one's name is Drake.
The laying pup's dark marks that come from their belly never fully lays flat either, always seeming to lift off their fur and go up to the pup's back, the marks go as high as the pup's eyes. This pup's name is Jessy.
The red pup's got lazier vision. This pup's name is Misty.
The bowing pup... again is just a mash up of Arius and August's designs. Not really an official character of mine.
