You have to wait until an artist posts saying that they're open & accepting tickets.
Also, the mutation roll isn't something where you can ask for hair. An artist will roll to see if the kit gets a mutation, and if the kit rolls for it, it will be something that neither of the parents have. It'll just be a random trait.
