If it is a nursery bean, then pm me because I need to update the nursery archive. For normal beans, you can have the gifting approved by the artist that designed the bean. It would be nice as well if you tell Kittu (wolfeh) about it, as she's running the normal archive at the moment.

Hey so i have a few questions regarding breeding:

The owner of my bean, soda's, mate saw somewhere that there had to be a six months ownership for a third gen to breed, is this true? also if it is true does this start over when ownership was shifted from their previous owner to their current owner.

I believe that the six months ownership only applies to the first owner of the 3rd gen bean. If the bean was gifted after the initial 6 months was over, you just have to own it for two months just like regular JBDs.
