Oliver nodded to reassure the girl, who's shift in silhoette could only be explained as her checking to see if Oliver was there. "I'm following." Their words felt strange, mangled in the silence, not quite ringing out, but rather just sinking in the air between the London streets. "Good grief, Banshee must be paranoid that the queen herself's out to get him, to have a base this hidden." She quietly joked.

"Oh, Its not I just wanted to try out my new goggles" Evelyn turned back around and opened a door "I took you the back way" she tapped her goggles making a small tink noise "It shows me a path and they have night vision" she walked in the door and waited for Oliver to come in before shutting the door and turning on the dim light.

"You told me earlier that you only knew one way back to the base." She grimaced. "Now, perhaps those goggles mapped it out for you, perhaps you might have recognized where you were when you started getting closer, but you need to tell me those kinds of things, if you have any intention of gaining my trust. We don't have Ratwheel here to keep the peace." Oliver said in a low voice, as she peaked in around the door, the dim light and her half adjusted sight taking note of each bit of her surroundings. Quietly, she tucked Evelyn's map from earlier under her own belt with a collection of her own crumpled papers, some of which were decorated with intricate, sprawling ink designs up their borders.

Evelyn looked at her slightly hurt "I did give you the map, it has the base mapped out on it... and you actually know how to use it... I just assumed that you would know by looking at the map..." Evelyn grew silent as she turned and walked out into the hall. Now that she was in the base she had no Idea where she was going. She was now just as lost as Oliver... Maybe more lost than Oliver. She couldn't help but ask herself why am I here, what am I doing She turned back to Oliver "Im sorry for not telling you, I wasn't trying to hide anything... I just wasnt thinking"

Oliver rolled her eyes, "Fair enough," she said, "But thinking can be pretty useful on the streets. Now, where are we? I think we're off the map at this point, and you're the one with fancy goggles... I need to get Ratwheel to make me some little gadgets of my own like that..." She trailed off, as she studied the passage ways.

Evelyn frowned slightly at the mention of ratwheel she didnt know if she trusted him anymore. "The gadgets are pretty cool" She radioed Banshee "Is there a specific place you wanted us?" She waited patiently for a reply

"The place he wanted us?" Oliver repeated slowly, "Well, I don't see my gang or yours." She stated, in a voice that would have come off as matter of fact, if it wasn't slightly threatening. Never the less, she waited for Banshee's reply. At this point, she was still at the advantage, not yet outnumbered, even is she was a bit lost, so she relaxed slightly.

"Come up topside the Assassins are settling in to the rooms we got sorted for them" Banshees voice came through the radio. He had put the baby too bed with the Bride and was nownin his office.

"Ie Ie Captain" Evelyn responded "Well time to climb" she smiled walking down the hall twords the stairs. She Lifted the goggles so so wasnt looking through them and they sat on the top of her head. As she climbed the stairs she became more familiar with her surroundings and easily found their rooms and Banshees office.

Oliver followed her, her nerves balancing between increasing relief for safety, and increasing fear that this still might all be a trick. She was someone who made a skill out of sneaking into other areas, but usually with her identity hidden. She consoled herself in the fact that if they had wanted anything from her, they would have acted on it already. "So, this is your home, now?"
