That happens to everyone;
I've been on both sides of the fence for that one.
Losing after putting so much effort it, and then also winning because I just threw something together.

It comes down to the Artist judging the competition and what they're looking for out of the forms - you could have an awesome form - but if the artist who judges it is looking for something different than how you made your form then they'll probably pick someone else.

That's just how "form" adoption based adopts work.
I think it's sort of complicated but it's not as though paying for adopts is any better.
Because if you don't have enough, you don't get the adopt. It's just a quicker way of being disappointed. lol
