Yeah, it used to air when I was a kid.. Literally the earliest childhood memory was me watching the original Dr who. I have started watching them again now. The original daleks and cyberman are the best.

There's a Doctor who festival coming up where I am and the ticket prices are so expensive ($200 for adult and $100 for under 16s). I really want to go because its Australias first Dr who festival and Billie Piper and Peter Capiladi is going. I'm going to save up money so hopefully they will have one next year.

I'm surprised that no one is talking about the recent episodes. Rest will be in transparent and in small font.
{Every episode has been double episode so far, I'm not sure what to think about that but it's interesting. I loved Maisie Williams episodes, 'The girl who died' and 'The women who lived', those are now my favorite episodes. }

[Ooh I loved those episodes too! ♥ Although, I think my current favorite is probably the most recent one, The Zygon Inversion. I thought that Peter was in excellent form as was Jenna. ♥ I loved Clara's role and man all the references for her eminent death really upsetting me. XD I really don't want her to go! I love Clara! ♥ ]

@MewForever ~ Accepted! Welcome aboard the TARDIS! ♥ So...I'm guessing that you've seen from...either The Impossible Planet/Satan's Pit to The Zygon Inversion or from Planet of the Ood to The Zygon Inversion. I'm pretty sure it's The Impossible Planet/Satan's Pit episodes to now since you've obviously seen Rose. XD

Okay, so I'm super excited right now! ♥ I have a chance to meet my people! And by my people I mean fellow Whovians in my area! ♥
A local public library in my area is hosting a 52nd Anniversary celebration! ♥
Here's the description:
Who celebrates the 52nd Anniversary of anything? Doctor Who fans! Join us the day after the 52nd birthday of Doctor Who to celebrate the Greatest Show in the Galaxy!

We'll have a panel discussion about the history of Doctor Who Fandom in [name of my city]. Panelists include the founder of the original [name of my city] Doctor Who Fan Club, a [name of my city] area Whovian from England, and representatives of the different generations of Doctor Who fans. Then we'll open the floor to people to share their own experiences as Doctor Who fans.

Show up to celebrate our shared love of Doctor Who and our geographical proximity to [name of my city]!

Costumes welcome! In fact: Costume Contest with prizes!

Costume Contest 7:15 PM

So, I'm super uber excited about this! ♥ I didn't find out about it until today, so I'm scrambling to come up with a costume, however! I found a solution! ♥ I can be Sarah Osgood! :3 I have the right hair color, the weight, it'd be easy to take a white collared dress shirt from my days in the FFA and draw red question marks on it. I can borrow my mom's inhaler device (without the medication inside), wear my glasses or find glasses similar to hers for cheap. I can do this! ♥ This is my first time cosplaying, so this ought to be fun. XD
I'm kinda scared though because this library happens to be located downtown in my state's capital and downtown anywhere is scary at night, but at least I'll have my twin brother there to protect me as we walk for approximately 5 to 6 minutes at night to the Light Rail! ♥ Maybe I'll get luck and make some new friends there and they'll be willing to walk with us too. I feel like the more people that are with us, the safer we'll be. ^^;

Interesting, is it for an acting class or something like that? I don't really know much about acting, but you're welcome to PM me if you want and I'd be happy to see if I can help at all. c:

Wow, that sounds awesome! ^^ Good luck with the costume, and please be safe! I wish they would do something like that in my area, but so far I haven't found anything. Usually pretty quiet around here when it comes to fandoms, which is too bad because I could use more people to talk to in real life about this stuff besides my mom and a few friends who aren't interested at all in Doctor Who. x3

-------------------------------

And a quick progress update if anyone's interested: I've gotten caught up with all of the new series, at least as much as I can watch on Netflix, so I haven't seen any of the newest season yet. Ten is still my favorite, definitely, but I have to say I'm loving Twelve, too. Pity I haven't been enjoying the writing as much with some of the more recent episodes because I think Peter Capaldi is just wonderful as the Doctor. <3 Now I'm slowly working my way (out-of-order) through some of the old Who. So far I've seen the first couple stories of One and some of Four. I can see what all the talk is about Four - he's great! :)

Oh, and my official favorite episode is "Midnight" from Season 4. Perfection.

I am good at writing and acting,all you need is something like this example,"Hello I'm the Doctor! I am visiting your school for (the reason why). I am happy to come as my Tardis crashed and I was staying to fix repairs. I can teach you about the universe or about any other questions! (Just act like you are the Doctor visiting a earth school. Plus if you want you can say sometimes "Bow-ties are cool. (or) Fez's are cool. (Because the Doctor says those two sentences and well I think you understand all I'm saying is act and feel like you are the doctor.) I know someone else already quoted this but I just wanted to help. Thanks. :)

@love8188 ~ I would suggest, along with Ad Ress's advice, that you do what I did when I was pretending to be Clara Oswald for a thing I did in English class. Basically, all I did was like...watch a ton of episodes and parrot her (say the lines with her or repeat them), even copy hand motions and things. I'd suggest you do the same thing. So, whichever Doctor you're trying to portray, just say his lines along with him and after awhile you'll probably get the hang of his accent, mannerisms, and other things. :3
That's just my advice though. XD

@Schuyler ~ Thank you! ♥ I'm so excited! ♥ Aww, I wish this sort of thing was more common to be honest. This is seriously the first time that I've ever heard of a Doctor Who thing going on at the library. XD I remember last year around this time and I saw the Doctor Who display at this same library. I was like....really, really, really surprised and totally fan girling out because I wasn't expecting to ever see anything like the toys and sonics and stuff that they had in those display cases. XD I took like...a ton of pictures. lol.
The last time I ever went to something like this event was probably when another branch in my local public library system did a party for the release of the 7th Harry Potter book. XD
Honestly though, I feel the same way. I feel like I never really hear much when it comes to fandoms unless whatever they're about is like...really popular at the time or something. X3

Also, kinda been wanting to show this off, but I've updated my Clara Oswald pet:
Image
I just wish I could get a starry background in there so it'd look more complete, but I put my only starry background on my 11th Doctor pet. XD

Ya those are fake lego's that don't work with lego's and there design isn't that exiting plus the new doctor who lego sets that I said should be released around now up to march and they should have a few sets then as I'm told.
Also look it's Doctor Who himself and Clara?!
