you send a trade to vanillapetal with some pets, (see the front page for more details) depending on the pets you gave her, you get $ fish added to your account ( on the front page it will have your name, and how many fish you have) with the fish you can buy scales. which allows you to do certain things with your dragon.
example: if you gave her a wishlist pet you would get 300 $fish the gold scales(which allows you to order a custom) cost 200 fish. so on your account you would now have 100 fish.
if u didnt get this then im sure if you read the first page thouroughly you will
